If that doesn't happen the whole development will be halted. The Council put that in as a stipulation after representations from fans who had witnessed other stadiums being razed on the simple promise of a new one. That won't be happening here. Nowadays I can't think of many that ever pass up the inside. Bomber Harris maybe? Nick Morris once or twice last year. I have had the pleasure of watching many masters since the very early 70s and still think if prepared well it one of the fairest and best race tracks around, but as for the back straight bobs, well that's a story in their own right. Have been privileged to see alot of great riders ride at the abbey,as you say such a fair track.Three meeting's that stick out for me are the Big Silver Plume meeting all the England v USA tests ( awesome gates) and my favourite were the New Zealand v Sweden test matches.
