Grachan
Don't se why there is so much shock horror over Jason Doyle really. He averaged over 7 last year and I'm not sure he'll improve on that. Maybe stay at that level for a season or two but I don't think he'll ever become a fully fledged number one. I'd take PK and possibly Bachelor over Jason - much as I like him. Plus he'd be yet another double-upper. That would give us 4 out of 7 if he was in the side!! I would have thought that there was no place for Doyle because Rosco's gone for Batch. If that's the case then I'm surprised because I thought Doyle would have been picked to give more points lower down the team. If we have gone for Batch - do we have to wait until March 1st again to hear?
thecoombdog
What makes everyone think that Rosco didn't want Doyley?? What if Doyley turned down a deal for whatever reason?

Second strings will be getting rides against NL riders probably twice a night. An EL 3 pointer should be able to take those points in theory. PK, Bach (if we get him) and Morris leaves us nearly 10 points for the remaining 2 riders, which should be pretty solid when you take into account the strength of the reserves. EnglishRoundabout
I would have liked to see Doyley back but its not to be for whatever reason. No sleep lost for me though and I'd be happy to see Batch back. Not sure Doyley will improve further, and if I am honest, Batch has the edge on him. jeffster
If no Doyley which is pure madness for me then it must mean PK, Nick & Mads are in the Robins line up. Not happy with no Doyley but then was aware of it. Doyley ? *Cough* *Allegedly* He wanted superstar big bucks *Allegedly* *Cough*
Elite Robin
What are your opinions about this top five for 2014?. 1. Peter Kildemand 8.25 2. Mads Korneliussen 6.97 3. Rory Schlein 6.84 4. Nick Morris 5.90 5. Ashley Birks 3.06 top five total = 31.
MattK
Doyley ? *Cough* *Allegedly* He wanted superstar big bucks *Allegedly* *Cough* Smart bloke. If you ask for double the money and Swindon pay you half what they owe you, then you break even.

Have to disagree Grachan he has had a couple of seasons with no injuries, and he has kicked on with the league being weaker i think he can put half a point on his average. YerRopes
If it's Swindon's decision not to go with Jason then that's fine by me.. I would have liked to have seen him in the Robin's colours for 2014 but if better options are available - then that has to be the route to go. As to whether Jason would up his average, possibly a bit, but PK and Troy (on his day) are the better prospects.
van wolfswinkel
Would prefer Batch to Doyley...just. We only want riders who really want to ride for the Robins. Any chance to get Gustafsson? Killer Morra and Batch is agood start though.

Killer Morra and Batch is agood start though. I would've had Jason in the team as it would've meant more points at other parts of the team & with no chance of having PK, Troy, Mads & Nick in the team then I guess Mads is the odd man out & guess an other(Gustaffson) & Ashley Birks must be in our plans. Compare that team to Coventry & it don't look to promising.
A ORLOV
Jason tweeted that he wanted to ride in the Robins this year, but things have not worked out. If he is named in the Somerset team and could not double up that could be part of the reason.
Anzum
Is Bellego and Gustafson possible if Birks not ready to ride? Not sure what Bellego's average is.
MattK
Bellego is 3.82 I believe
