Robins 2014

If the rumoured 38pts comes in to effect then including Hans & Kildemand, who else would you have room for in the team?

you will not get both. If that is the rumoured figure I am not certain you could or would go with PK and Doyley. Birks would be a shoe in on his 3 average but it depends on if he will fully recover from his injury.

As a matter of interest, what do speedway riders currently earn from riding in the British Elite league.?

Appearance money, £'s per point etc

Interesting to know as, unlike football for example, it isnt as widely published as to how much these guys earn in Britain and in the other continental leagues etc

Please no comments about riders not being paid at different clubs etc, this is a serious straight forward question

I WOULD estimate anything between £80 and £175 a point...

Would that depend on who they ride for? Or how good they are? Or both?

Yes my question as well Phil...do riders within a team get paid differently per point?

and........Is their any basic appearance money for being part of the named team on the night irrespective of points scored?

Swindon have already stated in the SS they would look at the option of using as many assets as possible. I would imagine Doyle and PK are nailed on.

I agree about Doyle and PK - which would mean no room for Andersen or Batch I would think. Also add in Morris and that will be the spine for next year's team - assuming we don't have doubling up and Doyle and Morris riding for the same PL team.

I can't come up with a team that has less than five doubling-up riders!

That will be interesting if there is only one league :D .

Will have to wait and see what the brains at the agm come up with re leagues, d/u rules and team limits as it would be great to keep some of this years team and include Jason.

I can't see Coventry signing Harris on an 11.37 average, so I think the chances of one big league are zero.

With Rosco seemingly having even more of a say and influence next season wonder what the chances are of Mads K returning?....setting aside there (on the face of it) laidback attitude to each other there remains a strong link between them and when his head is in the right place there arent many better away riders than him around the Abbey...but that is the key can he turn his away Blunsdon form (apart from his clearly unfit performance later last season there) into home Blunsdon form?...lets wipe away the memories of the 'riggermortice duo' days and start afresh?....anyone??

For me so far Kildemand Doyle Morris Korneliussen.........

Possible... although another option could be a loan swap between Mads & Rory....
