mudflaps
why don't Swindon look to build a team for 2014 using mainly Panthers Assets , refuse all BSPA rulings to make them full transfers, refuse all loan payments for using the assets and then finally refuse to pay the riders! Ah Yes - You did that in 2013! Simples!
TesarRacing
This is a 2014 thread - do keep up!! The 'dumped' Kyle Howarth is already confirmed for the Poole 1-7 next year - he wanted to ride for a winning team, get paid some decent wages so that he can continue taking Middlo's daughter out!! Hope he's careful where he takes her then, there's some nasty people down there!
Gloves
Does anyone think the robins will stay in the Elite league next year especially without sky. My understanding is that they would look to join the premier league with Leicester joining the elite league in their place.
SteveLyric2
Hope he's careful where he takes her then, there's some nasty people down there! ...and its taken you 6 whole days to come up with that??!!

Ah Yes - You did that in 2013! Simples! Ok - I'll bite! Point 1 - We didn't have mainly Panthers assets in 2013 - we only had 3 and then ditched 1 leaving 2 - hardly means "mainly" now does it. Point 2 - Whether the MC decreed or not the rules permitted Swindon not to sign Batch as an asset. Point 3 - How do you know we didn't pay our loan fees - I think you'll find we did otherwise there would have been sanctions. Point 4 - I don't believe Patch refused to pay the riders. Due to cashflow issues there were delays and things were sorted. As for 2014, it looks like the league will be watered down further so why would we want Hansi or Batch? Kildemand, Morris and Doyle will hopefully form the basis of our 2014 team but you never know we might take a few riders on the March 1st ruling

A ORLOV
more likely others will be snatching those 3 after march the 1st Subject to the 2014 points limit and those riders wanting to ride at Swindon I very much doubt that those three will be available to any other club

theblueboy
all riders will go to offers them the best pay packet ,swindons and the brummies stance in the last closed season has made it far easier so if payment of the 'best pay packet' determines where riders go why did Hans and Batch not ride for Peterborough? Is Frost a bit tight with his money or what?

Vincent Blachshadow
so if payment of the 'best pay packet' determines where riders go why did Hans and Batch not ride for Peterborough? Is Frost a bit tight with his money or what? Possibly not tight, but also not paying over the odds. The latter could lead to financial problems.
Gloves
Maybe they should introduce a fair play system similar to football in that you can only spend x% of your revenue on riders fees for points and appearance. It would start to get clubs to live within their own means rather than paying fees that leave clubs with money problems e.g. Robins and Brummies. That would be a great idea, but it would require a level of transparency currently unseen in speedway.
