Poole V Birmingham 1st Leg Grand Final

Recommended Posts

What's that got to do with anything? It's all about how teams are riding now that counts.

Of course its got a lot to do with it, Birmingham were runaway regulation league winners, we crept in by a nostral. That makes Birmingham clear favorites in my book..

I see Shovlar's responded. Now guess why I have no idea or desire to know what he said? I'll give him a couple of extra days to work that one out.

Then why respond? Pointless! Unless you want to pick an argument.

Sorry but it's a fact that Matt Ford is the best promoter in the country at this time and if anyone thinks he is going away soon they need to take a reality check.

You crept in with the same team you had all season did you? 2010 not ring bells? Bees crept in too but were the strongest team come play-off time.

That's 2 questions!

2 questions for you - how many points behind Poole were Coventry in 2010? And who went on to win? 'Nuff said!

Thats the beauty of the play off's but we wre favorites and Coventry turned us over.

If we were all the same life would be pretty boring. Stepford Wives, eh?

And for your information if Brum win I will be in the stadium and happy to congratulate them on their win. No probs at all.

Do you know how boring you come across Steve? At one time I was prepared to hear what you had to say on this forum, but now I find you talking absolute bollocks!! Who gives a flying if you congratulate Brum or not.You and your promotion are one of the reasons I've given up on speedway this season(and may never return),despite the team I follow having our best season imaginable.I hope that on Monday you have an evening that is special to you, and that's from someone you'd call a mate.

I was responding to someone else, so what my post had to do with you I have no idea. I don't know you so how can I call you a mate? Have we ever met?

However, if you have given up on your team and speedway, well that's your decision. If I am the reason you have given up on speedway then its certainly not me talking rubbish. But bye then.

Steve Shovlar - "whoever wins out of Poole and Swindon will win the final"

Steve Shovlar - " Birmingham are favourites Poole are underdogs"

You need to get out more Gavan. Find a girl (or a man if you are that way inclined), Relieve some of that tension you have. :drink:

For those that dont have Sky, BBC WM will be down at Wimbourne Rd on Monday giving their great coverage as usual. Unlike most of the commentaries on WM this year it will be broadcast on all frequences (FM in the West Midlands, DAB and Internet :t: . Hope Phillips lets them broadcast at Perry Barr for the second leg!

Scorers from the last 2 meetings between the clubs.

Think we'll be looking at 2 very different matches this time around.

One question, has Hancock ever ridden PB? Not that it will make much difference if he hasn't.

No jealousy towards Lord Ford from me, just contempt.

I don't believe there is a favourite in this final, Brum finished top but Poole are the form side with momentum. Its a clash of top heavy versus all round strength and will hopefully be a cracking couple of matches.

It does rather insult clowns, a profession with history and tradition - and bring pleasure to many. ;) . Sadly the opposite applies in the case of the postings from Dorset that you refer to.

Some come here to make postings to talk about the sport, try to make helpful suggestions and learn. Others just come to childishly provoke then see how many they can provoke into a response, then claim that they're 'reeling them in' as if that's some kind of achievement.

The postings are selfish and pathetic, waste bandwidth and poison the chance of having a worthwhile discussion. If I was having a discussion in a pub and someone behaved like the latter do they'd soon find themselves outside the pub and firmly aware of their 'rights'. Some think postings like Shovlar's are clever.

Pity them.

I hope we get a great couple of meetings and if Poole win it's fair and square. Well, you can but hope....

Bit of a dodgy post Steve, you have never intimated that you have any heterosexual inclinations...never a mention of a partner..
