david2905
Programmes in general are awful value, some clubs charge 3 quid for a normal league match and i have been to some matches where you still pay 2.50 only to find out its an old programme with a insert. Speedway programmes for normal league matches should be no more than 2 pounds, i can go to a premier league football match and get a programme for 3 quid that has 75 pages! Few selective quotes there Football programmes have more pages, how many are full of adverts rather than anything your interested in ?, your paying an extra quid so they can ram adverts in your face instead of what you want to see. Needless to say I'd love to know what Premier League Football Club let you in for £17. Compared to other sports, Speedway is cheap, it's people's "leisure spend" being squeezed that is the issue, having less £££ left for fun after paying all the bills, food etc(and the government wonder why the dole is so popular!), Speedway might seem expensive, but is it compared to other sports ?. The Know
...and I see it hasn't stopped you from sponsoring the meeting - well done!!!! Maybe you should have suggested your pricing policy before agreeing your meeting sponsor package?! News travels fast. Yes after a quick chat with Matt last night was delighted to Sponsor the FInal. I am a Poole boy, own a Poole company so it was obvious we should sponsor this prestigious event. Along with football we shall be moving back into speedway in 2014, home and abroad :-) Still stick by my pricing policy though ;-)

Grachan
What i object to is when they run a meeting like at Swindon the other day and it was abandoned after 7 heats and no refund offered Anyone who went to that match was given re-admission the following week for £10. Seems fair enough to me. There was a time when any match that got to heat 6 meant re-admission tickets were of no use whatsoever. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Dont count your chickens just yet. Unfotunately he is still suffering headaches etc and not fit yet. The severity of the crash and just how lucky he is I think is sumned up in the quote Leigh Lanham gave - he said its the first time a team mate has crashed and he hasnt wanted to get straight there to check on him because he was worried about what he might find had happened when he got there.(paraphrased) The fact that riding on Monday in possibly on tge agenda is something of a welcome miracle! Steve Shovlar
Forecast at the moment is good with dry weather over the weekend and a dry overcast day on Monday. Crowd should be big. Get there early.
Andrew C
This meeting will be won from the gate at Poole. As usual starting at Poole will be everything. I'm hoping for rain to level the playing field.
foreverblue
So Poole will lose their advantage of RR I would rather he rested monday and enjoyed the racing from the safety of the pit wall.

Gavan
No remember that Shovlar said the loss of Rohan would hamper their chances so him missing again is a catastrophe! Or did Shovlar get it wrong again!!! The fact is with Rohan out THJ can take a ride and then 2 riders with higher premier league averages than Rohan in Josh and Dyer share the rest so as all speedway fans know Poole are stronger if Tungate is out

Or did Shovlar get it wrong again!!! The fact is with Rohan out THJ can take a ride and then 2 riders with higher premier league averages than Rohan in Josh and Dyer share the rest so as all speedway fans know Poole are stronger if Tungate is out You don't know what you are talking about and don't know when to stop when you have made a pillock of yourself all season with your continued Poole bashing. You made a fool of yourself saying Poole are rubbish. You continue to make a fool of yourself by now trying to justify your multitude of idiotic remarks. You don't have a clue about how a team like Poole works and by continuing to post on the subject confirms this to anyone with a knowledge of the sport.. If Poole are such a weak rubbish team, why have we just taken apart the Swindon team? Don't come back with "because they have now strengthened up". You had plenty of opportunity to say that when changes were made earlier this season, but your frankly hilarious ranting got so bad it led to 2 lengthy suspensions from the forum. You missed the opportunity to say Poole "are now looking a strong side", but all we got from you, alongside SteveBrum, was that we are not true speedway fans" and "blue tints". Well let me tell you that I see see clearly through these blue tinted glasses. And do you know what I can see? Middlo, Matt and the boys holding aloft a rather large Elite League trophy in just over 2 weeks time at Perry Bar. So Gavan, stick that in your pipe and smoke it!
