TheScotsman
A doubt for tonight with reoccuring niggle! Strange niggle that one - any true cynic would think he doesn't go well up there He should take a leaf out of Sneddon's book and overcome his demons Entirely my fault - I thought they said Hawkins was coming in, but they both looked equally slow and unsteady last night (shame for Hawkins, but predictable for Schramm) and in the gloom (darkness and mood) I was convinced it was Schramm. To be honest, I was well past caring by then . Now corrected on Live Updates. Thanks for your review - very balanced. Good luck to the Monarchs in the final - probably against Somerset sometime later this year. Vissing ought to be up for a spin at the OTA and maybe Pijper will enjoy it more than he does Foxhall. Cheers HE.

Lord Lucan
I Believe!!!!!! You'll be the only one AF, not even a shaman would touch this with a prediction!! Was looking good when I checked the score last night before I went to work, 6pts up thought, Comets could get a result here after all, looked again when I got home, wheels had come off game over!!! Still, never mind, there's always next year? Edited October 4, 2013 by Lord Lucan
Bash
Hawkins was a big disappointment (for Ippo fans - not for me). 3 falls in 5 rides when I expected him to wipe the floor with our reserves. Didn't clear the track when he came off in heat 2 which I thought was a bit naughty but he did clear it from a fall when last in heat 14 so credit to him for that. He seemed to need a bit of treatment after his heat 14 fall so I fully expect him not to be at Edinburgh on Friday  Risager was surprisingly good - 11 points from the number 5 position when he gets so much grief from Ippo fans, He was well slagged off during/after the 5-1 loss in heat 11 to Deek and Cookie but in fairness Cookie's team riding was outstanding - very wide into bends 1 and 3 and very tight to the kerb coming out of bends 2 and 4. He spent as much time looking behind as he did in front and was going to have the measure of anything Risager threw at him. Morten could have tried some more different lines of attack but Cookie would have been there. Concerning Hawkins fall in heat 2 the bike was on top of him so it would've been a struggle to get off the track in time. Risager always buzzes around the back wheels of the opposition in front of him but never looks like he is going to get passed them. Congrats to Cookie on another max, but did he really need to try to force himself past Sneddon off the last bend. Well done to Derek for blocking him, Cookie only thinking of himself again . Thought Chris Gay was at fault for a lot of the starts tonight, holding the tapes for far too long when the riders were perfectly still, the smell of burning clutches at the start line was fowl. Also when Rene was put back 15m, Chris Gay must have slipped on the button as the tapes went up so fast that Rene wasn't even in position to start the race! London Witch
Any updates for this tonight? I fancy a laugh I have never been so uninterested in a meeting as I am this one tonight. Its as if a bunch of riders are just using our name, just so glad nothing is at stake. Stay safe Morten and Cam (and everybody else). Its safe to say I won't be following updates. Lol. crescent girl
I am unaware if Mr Gay reads these pages, but his good work in watching out for Klindt (especially) and Rene Bach at the starts suggests he was well aware of the criticisms being levelled (again, particularly at Klindt) on here pre-match. I would guess that Mr Dishington was equally particular at Edinburgh last night, as Klindt didn't get away with any of his speciality rollers, and was predictably dire as a result.
