Sheffield 2014

Interesting to see how he gets on, Proctor just seemed to be coming good (at home anyway), not sure if Nico will be as good as Proctor was becoming, but from what I've seen of him, he should be entertaining at the very least... If only there was another Argentinian rider that we could bring in to keep him company

2 years ago Nico champion and Facu second in International championship in Argentina.-

at least he will obtain an average between now and the end of the season which may be to our advantage on the team building front for next season, plus proctors average for next season might make him a sought after guy.

Im guessing we've seen the last of Proctor now. injured? Where did he get injured exactly?

Agree with RocketBen about Covatti - 6 pointer IMO. Bloody exciting though and will probably score FX,3,1,2 beating the opposition number 1 and losing to their reserve!

Proctor injured his leg when crashing in the last heat of the Newcastle meeting at home a few weeks back, he came back to ride in the Sky Meeting and aggrevated it again. Edited by Tigerite

July 16th heat 15 against Newcastle..

Made two appearance's afterwards and pulled out off both meetings part way through.

Covatti in the Premier League is an unknown quantity, but at this sttage of the season and where we are on the league worth taking a look at. .

He was scoring near that in the EL. Should be a top heat leader in PL.

I guess technically 4.59 is "near" 6 in the scheme of things. But when you consider he'd average 4.00 just by beating the draft riders, 4.59 is nothing to get too excited about. It suggests thats he rarely beat the second strings in the oppositions teams and then riders are the heatleaders in the PL. So as pointed out, he'll do well to get 6. Lets not forget Proctor only got slightly more than 6 and he's been averaging slightly more in the EL - and that included a spell as a heatleader.

with Nico four argentine riders rode in Owlerton. Sánchez, Facu, Jona Iturre and now Nico.- All finished champion or second in Argentine International championship.-

I quite liked the look of Iturre, would liked to have seen more of him.
