AndyK86
Cannot disagree with those finishing sentiments. The last two seasons have been hell, and I have gone to meetings more out of habit than enjoyment. I used to stand on first bend a lot back in early 00's and it was very often full with plenty of atmosphere and banter between away fans but i moved to 3rd and 4th but last season often for last few heats drifted back round to first bend and the huge spaces were sad to see, need to get Owlerton jumping again on whatever night we race ! Cue Ball
Realistically we are going to sign Koppe, Albin and Compton, what points does that leave is with?
Halifordukesfan
Realistically we are going to sign Koppe, Albin and Compton, what points does that leave is with? Assuming Koppe finished last season on 3.00, total for these 3 is 10.98, leaving 14.38 for the remaining two places.

Blackadder
Pleased to see the sale go through, some new shale has been ordered and there has been a good start to team building; now hoping the team is completed soon with riders who can entertain and are reliable. Cue Ball
Just thinking, wonder if Lewis Bridger still wants to double up/down?? Also, curious to see Kyle Legault commenting on the face book page
OdsalBoy
Just thinking, wonder if Lewis Bridger still wants to double up/down?? Also, curious to see Kyle Legault commenting on the face book page Was thinking the exact same earlier, would love Bridger in the team, he's expressed a desire to ride for the tigers in the past so it would work well, can't imagine his services being cheap though so who knows, great signing if so . Cue Ball
So Bridger would conceivably fit, but would make us more top heavy than Jordan
RS50
Was not impressed enough with him when he rode for Team GB last year to include him at such a high average.
spin king
Bridger not worth taking at the average he would come in on. It leave use with 14.86 for the remaining 4 places, which simply is not enough.,
Blackadder
If we were to go top heavy, I would prefer Ty Proctor, but even his average of 9.22 (I think) would probably be too much.

OdsalBoy
Hoggy on the mic was ok but by heat 15 the voice did start to grate, prefer the more serious bloke on the mic who verbally carved me up :-) in all seriousness though I couldn't care about who runs the mic, I'm just well chuffed to be supporting my beloved tigers one again in 2014 :-)

We've got 2 regular visitors to Owlerton who'd make good team managers. Jack Lee has the experience of leading a team and would probably be my first choice, but I've always said I'd like Garry Stead to manage and come back to speedway in some capacity.
spin king
We've got 2 regular visitors to Owlerton who'd make good team managers. Jack Lee has the experience of leading a team and would probably be my first choice, but I've always said I'd like Garry Stead to manage and come back to speedway in some capacity. I think it is highly unlikely that Garry would be interested always said that Team Managing does not interested him plus he has a thriving business that keeps him very busy. But Jack Lee could be and has a wealth of experience, and would be a good call. Edited January 5, 2014 by spin king
