I don't think it's any secret how bitter Machin is towards the BSPA but to turn on his Co-promoter like this after a moment of light hearted banter to raise a few quid for charity is despicable. Anyone who has had the remotest of contact with the SRBF knows just how much work Hoggy has put in to contribute. I'll bet his auctions have raised a five figure sum over the years and knowing what I know about him every penny of this stunt would have been heading to our injured riders. Shameful and sad.

So the new promotion aren't in place yet, they have already explained that these things take time and a legal process has to be followed. We have the most positive news coming out of Owlerton for some time, everone except you is enthusiastic and you have to make the point on here? WTF are you on?

What he's on is jealousy, big time (whoever he might be).

The remarks made on this thread and elsewhere are in stark contrast to those made at the beginning of last season, and he simply can't stomach that.

Comments made as a result of envy are absolutely worthless.

He was called Dave aka the RealDL until last night. And he's changed his profile description this morning asking the fans to remain patient! How patient is he being? Wonder who and why?

I would respectfully request that fans remain patient whilst the club is currently engaged in confidential sale negotiations.

<abuse removed> If this is NOT a hoax and he really is an officer of the new administration I hope he learns to show greater respect for the paying public than he does for his fellow-directors.

Perhaps Hoggy could enlighten everyone as to the credentials of this poster - as to whether or not he is genuine - i.e. The Real Deal!

He is claiming to be from the OLD administration overseeing the sale. Nothing to do with the people coming in fourth bender. If his is what the consortium are dealing with no wonder the transaction is dragging on. Anyone would think he doesn't want it to happen! I would think Hoggy would be advised to steer clear of this buffoon's posts!

I'm confused. He claims to represent the OLD administration but is back-peddling on Hoggy's offer on behalf of the NEW administration. Who's running the show?

No. What he is saying is that because the deal isn't finalised he doesn't want the old regime saddled with a massive liability that may reach ooh £120. Therefore he is saying that Hoggy is doing it off his own bat not on behalf of The existing promotion. Penny pinching to the end!

Surely this was meant as a joke. Rather sad individual if not. Think an explanation from said poster would be appropriate, so that we know the full facts.

I think the whole thing says more about the delusioned poster, than Hoggy and the consortium. There must be loads of things to do with the transfer of the business, planning the new team, and buying and arranging the new air fence, and it is these things that should be everyone's concentration at the moment. There is renewed enthusiasm in Sheffield posters on here and long may it continue.

Tsunami is absolutely right, let's concentrate on what's coming. Steady's been training with Ash Birks and Josh Bates at Ryan Rhodes boxing gym, so he's really pumped up for the new season and apparently very happy with the way team buildings been going.
I'll take this opportunity to wish Ash (another Sheffield lad) good luck for the new season after his horrific injury, although bizarre how it occurred.

So back to team building. Are people still expecting Andre to be announced?

If so Is his average 4.36?

If so who is available at more than 4.36 but no more than 4.85? as we only have 9.21 to play with and obviously ideal for him to start at reserve.

Any ideas?

Alex Edberg, Simon Nielsen and Hynek Stichauer are the only ones I can see from last year's Green Sheets.

Looking at who is available it might be that if Andre is coming back he might have to go into the top five with A.N.Other at reserve. IMO can't see that being a major issue, but what a rider to have at reserve he could prove to be. Plus he'd be a big help to young Josh and would allow him to be brought on, allowing him to develop at a steady pace.

Personally I would like to see Albin return to the team, with some better machinery, as I think having a second year might release some of that potential I believe he possesses.

Back to Andre though as I've posted before I think he could easily improve, at least two points on that average.

Still lets wait and see what's delivered this week by the new promotion!
