Cue Ball
That's Bjerre, fisher and Ulrich out of the equation, glad to see Peterborough are running though

Charlieboy
Could really do with take over being completed a.s.a.p. but cant see it.Good and half decent riders are being swallowed up so less choice for us.Mark Lemon and Dak north could do a job. After 2 top signings I hope its not going to be big let down.Pepe needs to be more committed if he joins us.No good if hes missing meetings. OdsalBoy
Agree with the above post, seems like riders are getting snapped up pretty quickly now and we need to move swiftly. Pepe Franc - NO THANKS. C'mon Hoggy get this team nailed down !
spin king
With Peterborough coming to the table one or two options falling by the wayside. Â But amazing there are still some potentially decent riders out there that could do a job for Sheffield. Â Will be interesting to see what Somerset do with there team with the word that Brady Kurtz has been given a 5 point assessed average. Â People seem to assume that they will release Nick Morris, could be that they might let Ollie Allen go. Â Would be nice if the club could announce the two riders who will fit into the top 4. Â Disappoint that some of the potential signings have gone, but not concerned.

DIAMONDS
1. Simon Stead 9.33 2. Andre Compton 4.36 3. Nicolai Klindt 6.93 4. Josef Franc 6.95 5. Adam Roynon 7.81 6. Damian Koppe3.00? or Oliver Greenwood 3.00 7. Facundo Albin 3.
AndyK86
I fear for this team if we don't start with Compton at reserve with either Koppe/Greenwood/Albin, we are getting left behind when it comes to the top five but there are still some decent riders around to sign, but if we are weaker than others in top five department at least we can strengthen our reserves and they are often the match winners, so for me it is a no brainer Compton and another. Â Â Â I agree with Spinny. There's a long way to go and a lot of riders to sign yet. Â For me, Compton in team and Albin and Koppe at reserve is fine, because there is an awful lot of potential in there plus the last two riders would be around the 7 point mark. But if you are trying to get the strongest team possible, Compton at reserve on that average is a must. Â Albin and Koppe yes maybe a lot of potential there and like them both but there is no room for sentiment in sport, and i said there is a fair few riders still available but there is no guarentee they will come to Sheffield. Â Lets build strongest team possible for once instead of hoping Koppe and Albin come good at reserve, we cannot take risks this season ! Harman
1- Simon Stead-------------------- 9.33 2- Andre Compton---------------- 4.36 3- Adam Roynon------------------ 7.81 4- 5- Nick Morris ------------------ 8.84 6- Facundo Albin ----------------- 3.62 7- Â Leaves 8.54 for final 2 riders Don't think the deal is done with Albin yet the club were asking for help with accommodation, workshop for him and then I suppose he would need a van and a mechanic who would hopefully be able to speak Spanish:) There may be easier options that the club are looking at. Cue Ball
Didn't Berwick not take him because their team plans cocked up last minute? Hence he had sponsors and accommodation on the Berwick area?
Charlieboy
Â Hardly Pepe's fault he missed meetings. Blame the rearranged fixtures, rather than the individual. That's not always the case. For me as a Sheffield supporter I want to see 7 Sheffield riders week in week out unless injured. When a rider signs a contract he should honour it.If he wants to do long track, grass track or ride elsewhere that's up to him,but Sheffield should be priority.Hes guaranteed 30 plus meetings with us,how many long track do they do.Too many riders take English clubs for granted.

Blackadder
Sheffield have signed the fewest number of riders of any EL or PL team, including Peterborough who have only been in the PL for 5 minutes. Could do with some progress on new owners and some inspiring new riders. Has the new fence been ordered, and has a load of new muck been ordered so that Graham and John can bring back Fortress Owlerton?
