Morning all,

And it really is (early) morning here. 6.30am. As my dear old dad used to say "Early to bed, Early to rise, Makes a man healthy....... Well the healthy bit holds, but where did the wealth go ?.As for my ramblings, obviously not wise either. . Sopcast is fine and for anyone looking for a stream

Not the greatest crowd, but the main thing at this time of the year is that the weather is good.

Pity no Greg Laguta but still might be a decent meeting. Got to be better than the PO Final 2nd Leg.

Has the shutdown (slimdown) affected you Alan?

Morning mate,

Re shutdown, Not at all. I love it that 800,000 "Non Essential" workers are laid off and we don't notice. What the hell are we paying them for anyway? I always remember asking my mate in Ledbury whether he had voted and he said "Same old arseholes, same old promises"

True 'meet the new boss, same as the old boss'.

But we at least have people in power that know the Earth is not 6000 years old

I am back there in May so am hoping it is sorted by then :)

Looks like they have the Danish guy on the graphics this morning :)

Great ride by Loktaev :)

Oh it will be. Just a lot of posturing and point scoring instead of doing anything about the real problem. Overspending.

Back to the important stuff :t: shame this wasn't the final with 2 full teams. Dudek really is good isn't he. He'll clean up today.

Sopcast froze on me. Yours okay?. Picked up another stream, so haven't missed anything.

After 4, cue Surfaris "Wipe-Out "

Fine heat 7, Czaja & Loktaev enjoying themselves. Will certainly be following Czaja's progress in 2014. Your comments on Dudek are spot on Alan, a real star on the world stage in the making.

Just got in for the last heat-good 1-5 turned into 5-1

Just to clarify the 2nd leg is next Saturday 19th October(i originally posted Sunday) start time 4.15pm uk time-also televised by polsat sport.

Oh rats! My son is swimming in his first college meet next Saturday, so bang goes the speedway. I thought i was in luck with a Sunday 2nd leg, but life doesn't always turn out as planned. i hope you guys round off the season in fine style, though the overall result is not in doubt. No injuries (that would be cruel) fine weather and good racing. Regards. Alan.
