ch958
looks to me like several have said well done Redcar?? knock it off girls - theres idiots at both tracks in fact theres idiots at every track thankfully greatly outnumbered by proper speedway folk
northyorksbear
looks to me like several have said well done Redcar?? And I applaud those fans, it isn't easy having watched your team collapse to then come on public form and praise the other team especially when there is the local rivalry associated. I have no doubts Newcastle will have a strong finish to the season, you have too good a line up not to. To go from winning first seven heats last night 22-20 to losing the next seven 29-13 was almost a freakish event. In my opinion your heat leaders were totally to blame, not winning a heat between them and Lindgren having scored 16+1, 12+1 & 14 on his visits to Redcar this season was not at the races, only Redcar rider he beat started off 15m! Rosen looks another gem, very quick, but not the same rider after his excursion towards pits fence in heat 8!
scarletrider
looks to me like several have said well done Redcar?? You're quite right Arson, quite a few Diamonds fans have said "well done" Redcar - and meant it! You have to ask why do a handful of Redcar fans always seek to stir things? Having given my support to both teams over the years, I have seen the good and bad from both sides. "The Mackem"
Willowman
So the two underdog teams go and make a huge upset tonight, and the PLPO format needs looked at !!! Some people think their teams just need to turn up , just like Ippo tonight, how wrong were they. A Worky-Redcar final , mmmmmm, now that would shut a few up especially the ones further south ;-) Deary me. You really do have a downer on Somerset. Where on earth do you get this "Some people think their teams just need to turn up" rubbish from?
The White Knight
Well having just read this Thread I would like to add my congratulations to Redcar and it would be great if they went on and won the whole thing. I don't know what happened to Andrew Tully recently one of our better Riders. I have come to expect this sort of performance from Ludvig Lindgren - I'm not terribly impressed with him to be honest. I have expected more from him all Season.

TMW
Well having just read this Thread I would like to add my congratulations to Redcar and it would be great if they went on and won the whole thing. Especially if Rye House stuff them tomorrow and drop to 7th I suppose the question is. Did Redcar win or did Newcastle lose ? scarletrider
Having supported The Diamonds all season, and admired the way they performed after loosing Tully, Henry and Robson, I was more than disappointed with their efforts (or lack of) at Redcar last night. On the three previous visits to Redcar this season the Diamonds score averaged 47 pts. But last night they failed to turn up as a team. Reserve Chris Schramm scored more points than Lindgren and Tully put together! Some riders are not putting the effort in when it matters most. If the play off's are such a good thing why can riders not be arsed to make the effort - the seasons work goes down the pan-all for nothing! Where's your loyalty to the fans and your club - one big let down. To the riders I say you have a lot to make up for starting this Sunday, your'e team place is up for grabs next season, you are doing yourselves no favours, and you will loose some fans. To speedway riders all over I say "Where's your'e self pride" or don't you have any? The sport is mickey mouse as it is! I've seen this coming for a while now - for God's sake put it right on Sunday, you owe it to the fans and your club. "The Mackem"

"The Mackem" Think you have to thank Lewi Kerr for his contribution. by far the best reserve at the moment and as someone said earlier he is riding in the 3 leagues and scoring !!! "The Mackem" Your post doesn't offend me, but I think it does offend every rider up and down the country from Edinburgh to Plymouth who have raced this and every season. To ask riders to show "PRIDE" is probably the rudest comment ive ever read. Especially and including last nights Newcastle team. Good question. A SPEEDWAY supporter who follows Redcar. Diamonds boss George English said: “We were comfortably six points up early on and looking good for a solid away win in our most important matches of the season, yet we dramatically lost our direction and in some cases it looked like our determination as well and the final result can only be described as very, very disappointing. “I only hope the determination I know these lads posses returns rapidly.” Surely with determination comes pride?? Lack of determination means lack of effort also. Edited September 27, 2013 by Arson fire

I actually follow Newcastle these days - not that it matters.

Do you, as they say "put it on the line " at work?In the heat of the moment, with the ever growing number of injury's etc, I just thought the original post was OTT, and disrespectful.
