Birmingham V Wolverhampton Playoff Semi Final 2nd Leg 30/09

Recommended Posts

Also good to see Josh Auty in the second leg.

Not sure what to make of this. Firstly, I'm delighted that Josh is well enough to be riding and a welcome part of the team he will be.

BUT - (slightly off-speedway here) how many times have "suspected broken" bones turned out not be be broken at all this year? (Schlein, Barker and now Auty spring immediately to mind) What's going on with the quality medical diagnoses these days? Are all the medics trained to be over-cautious now, and to hand out worst case scenarios in order to avoid the blame if things are worse than they at first thought?

Easy routine win by Brum against the playoffs weakest team.

Steve, why did you feel the need to add the last 5 words? No one would disagree with the other 5. You can only be trying to provoke a 'we're probably not going to be good enough, but at least we'll be third best' thus confirming what your detractors on here claim.

Love the way that the Brummies are getting "bigged up" again, ready for a massive gloat if they slip up. :o Anyone who's seen Brummies v Wolves fixtures at Perry Barr over the years will know that they are close fought affairs with any result being possible at any time.

I suspect that one of these may have been used instead of the normal keyboard.

Just a play on the troll Steve Brum's post on the Swindon V Poole thread.

Glad Josh is back,if the Brum do beat Swindon? in the Final! good luck to them i think it will be quite special. To have the same seven all year is pretty unique i think other teams take note.

Can see your point, but luck must play its part as far as injuries are concerned. Good that the management have resisted the urge to hit the "tinker" button though.

As far as the meeting is concerned, I think it will be closer than many are predicting, but Birmingham should make it to the final.

Fair point OGT for me it is like going back to yesteryear the same 7 every week the management keeping faith.Credit also to Peterborough, they kept faith in Hougaard when some said he should be axed.
