BluPanther
Your wrong, In the interview Hancock said that the main thing that convinced him to join the Pirates was that an Elite League title medal was missing in his cabinet. He failed to mention that he had just been sacked in Poland, otherwise he would have stuck two fingers up to British speedway as he has done for many years...

Phlipphlopp
would you like to repeat yourself young man Brum always talks rubbish. Every prediction he makes is always wrong. Top effort from the underdogs Edited September 30, 2013 by phlipphlop

noggin
Anyone who says swindon bottled it tonight will be doing Poole a diservice, they were the better team full stop.
Tom Turner
Anyone who says swindon bottled it tonight will be doing Poole a diservice, they were the better team full stop. Â It was all over when Rosco chose to race at home first! Swindon were more than capable of winning but their complacency bit them in the arse.
Phlipphlopp
Just personal taste, not a huge fan of riders who make their career out of doing their work over the first lap. Thats the difference between winners and also rans, give me winners every time. No doubt if you were in his shoes you'd miss the start just for fun then eh ? Wildcat Steve
Brummies have a great side bring on the final as Poole have done so well to get there with the season of injuries they have had beating Swindon was such a great effort because Swindon were such a strong side and it took such a team effort anything is possible
SteveLyric2
But not as limp as Poole's title challenge come 9pm tonight... Oh dear!!
The Know
Well I did tell ya. What a fantastic win by Poole. Rode very well and there is more to come. Think there is a good chance to beat BIrmingham home and away. To all you doubters, Ye Ha !!!! Ding Dong swindon dead and buried. Â He failed to mention that he had just been sacked in Poland, otherwise he would have stuck two fingers up to British speedway as he has done for many years... Hi Ho !!!!
Crump99
  Thank you  So you think saying Poole WOULD have walked all over Swindon last year is a valid point?  Yup! And I think Panthers would have walked all over Swindon but for Bjerre's broken leg and would have walked all over Swindon this year but for the disgrace that was September 9th. At least we'll not have to hear you banging on about the champions and retaining their title, it's all gone a bit pear shaped.
Wackie
Well, not a Swindon fan, and even less of a Poole fan, but that was a fantastic meeting - thank god Lakeside didn't make the playoffs in the end! Bring on the final and Wizzers army
david2905
Can't believe Swindon threw away a 10 point lead, fair play to Poole for fighting for every point. Â Andersens Injury, Kildemand having an off night, and Eddie being Eddie proved a bridge too far for Swindon.
SteveLyric2
Well what a great night that was!! Honestly thought we might get found out in heat 14 but it turned out the other way!! Good race track tonight, great atmosphere, some excellent performances (not least from Rosco who was straight in to congratulate the Pirate boys) and a terrific result for Chris Holder!!
Wildcat Steve
amazed at the anti Hancock brigade Matt Ford did well to get Greg it helped with the pain of loosing Chris Holder. he has been such aboost to the Poole side and any side would have loved to have had him. So he has been out for a few years so what its great to see him this season Thanks Greg now on to the final
Steve Shovlar
John Francome, Desmond Morris, Diana Dors, Melinda Messanger, Julian Clary, Mark Lemarr, Billie Piper, Gilbert O'sullivan, Don Rogers, Justin Heyward, XTC, Rosco...........your boys......your boys took a hell of a beating!!!!!! Â A joyous night of speedway. Fantastic. That's what it was all about! And you know what did it? The lads heard Hans Andersen saying "we have sunk the Pirates Ship", and Batch on BBC Wiltshire radio saying, "It's in the bag", after last weeks meeting. Â Add to that taking the first leg first (an absolute howler as I said at the time) and then changing team order spelt the end for the Robins. Â They say revenge is a dish served best cold. Tonight was certainly a time for revenge, and the boys didn't let us down. Fantastic display from heat 1 and the roar of the crowd kept the team going through all 15 heats. Superb. Â I really thought the Robins would battle but it was clear they were trying to defend and couldn't compete with our top end. Â I will give a special mention to Nick Morris who had the right attitude all night. A shame for Swindon fans (and a relief for us) that none of the others could compete at the same level as him. Â As for Kildemand, it was clear he just slid off, looked up and then laid there. A Pole did this in the semis of the Polish playoffs and was booted out of the meeting. Pure cheating but luckily it failed in the rerun. Ref should be able to send off the rider for such an offence. Â Swindon fans have been gracious, but SteveBrum hasn't, trying to fathom out how Poole did it. Perhaps he was wrong all along with his assertions that Poole were the make weights. But he will never admit it. Â As for Gavan, I doubt he will say anything. He has been calling us rubbish all year. Well Gavan we are in the final. What do you think of that? Â Commiserations to Swindon. Tough to lose a semi. Hard to lose a final with key riders missing but Swindon fans were light on the sympathy 12 months ago. What goes around comes around, eh? Â Bring on Brum. Whatever the result of the final, the Pirates ship has done us proud tonight. And that's all we can hope for. Â Cheers!

Starman2006
Congrates to all our boys Neil Middleditch Matt Ford and all our fans, it was a solid TEAM effort, same again next Monday. ive know some bloody good hold up horses, but this is getting rediculous!! Fair play to Rosco, who shook everybodys hand and said well done after heat 14. Edited September 30, 2013 by Starman2006
Gavan
What do I think Shovlar? Your team cheated to get there so it will be nice and sweet if the Brummies beat you. Yes Kildemand did it but so did Ward on sky this season but that was ok in your eyes double standards as always. Have you noticed how gracious the Swindon fans are in defeat? Hope you do the same if you lose the final but I doubt it. Got to laugh at how daft Middlo is these days he us like an grandad who can't see anything josh hits a famous Wimborne Road rut and the buffoon blamed Hans! Oh by the way how did r/r go fit Tungate? Made you stronger him being out
