Poole V Swindon 30 September 2013 Second Leg

Recommended Posts

Do you ever smile ?

Have assumed you're badly dyslexic or couldn't find your B key..

Anyway as for Monday, it is by no means over - if THJ, Magic, Micky & Josh can produce their recent home form then it will go to the wire.

Hoping young Nick is OK for Monday..

All the time as i have a fantastic life thanks.

What's happened to Jonasson then? I notice his recent form in Sweden has not been good.

Apparently hurt his collar bone when crashing on monday but he did ride afterwards so i can't really see him missing and certainly hope not, he is the only rider we have in the lower order who can beat anyone on his day.

I noticed Rosco has said he is moving Morris back to no. 2 and Kennett to 4 because of the concussion to Morris in case they have to use r/r and Kennetts improved form. I believe this is a mistake, Kennett is usually poor at Wimborne Road and he will be in what could be the vital heat 14, he could let them down, hopefully!

Of course, I forgot he crashed on Monday. Seems like a long time ago now!

TBF, Kennett will not get an easier heat 14. Tungate and a reserve (probably Josh G) who he should be beating with relative ease.

Well Tungate did beat him when Kennett was guesting for Kings Lynn but he did beat him when riding for Swindon so i wouldn't say he should beat either Rohan or Josh with ease.

Kennett i think will either be really good or bad and not something inbetween. His form on the nite will go a long way to who wins.

Depends how the gate positions fall and who wins the toss. If Kenett goes off the inside he should be comfortable but No4 can be off gate 4 in heat 14 and Kennett is not the greatest over-taker on that type of track and if he can't get across the Poole pair he might finish up at the back.

From a Swindon point of I would think they would be hoping heat 14 will be irrelevant and the meeting will over as a contest by then..

You think a dialed in Poole side at home can't win by 11pts?

Sky are reporting it as if Poole aren't even in contention. Anybody who watches Poole week in week out will tell you this is what we do... We bounce back against the odds every time. I think there may be a lot of surprises in store from the Pirates on Monday night.

Not many give you a chance but fair play for having belief.

*Newsflash*

Poole have been allowed by the BSPA to make a couple of team changes for the play off semi final 2nd leg against Swindon on Monday.

Their revised line up will now be:-

1. Darcy Ward

2. Krzysztof Kasprzak

3. Nikki Pedersen

4. Kenneth Bjerre

5. Jarek Hampel

6. Greg Hancock

7. Magic Janowski

The changes have been allowed 'in the best interests of speedway' and with the consent of the Swindon management.

Swindon team manager Alun Rossiter said "These changes should make the 2nd leg a bit more interesting, but we (Swindon) will still go there and give them a good thrashing"
