Don't know why you guys don't just ignore Starman he loves to wind all you people up, we all know he knows nothing if you didn't bite.........

Maybe we enjoy the comedy?

Comedy is a lose description of Starman2006.

There are many others that fit more appropriately.

Should be banned for rest of gp series he obviously has no concern for the safety of other riders

He could of just been very drunk the night before? No it's not professional, but give the man a chance to put across his version of event's before you make your judgements.

Ward, like Poole - do as they want and not care about anyone else.

If he failed a test from drinking the night before then it IS unprofessional.

Don`t defend the indefensible.

What on earth do you expect him to say regarding his `version`? :nono::shock:

Fingers crossed the alcohol & drug testers follow Darcy around for the rest of the year in the UK. We know he likes a drink with Midlo. Must be the right thing to do know it's known he's willing to put his fellow competitors at risk and race. Now down to the BSPA

First of all, what is the limit for riding a speedway bike? Is this a speedway regulation or a local regulation? The alcohol drink driving limit for road users varies massively country to country. Perhaps they forbid any alcohol at all? It's not uncommon for somebody to drink heavily one night, and feel fine the next day but still be over the legal limit.

I'm just saying it's not uncommon for somebody his age to have a heavy Saturday night and not realize the effects might last so long. He could of been well under our legal drink drive limit in the UK but over theirs in Daugavpils.

Not defending him, just brain storming. Doesn't always pay to judge somebody without the facts. It is only fair that any potential ban considers all factors of his defense, and so should we.

Is it not the FIM who make this ruling?
