Poole will get through because Sky want them there, and the one who pays the piper call the tune. We saw last year that Sky wanted them in the play-offs and Sky got them in the Play-offs seconds before the track became unsafe to race on.

As we saw on Monday at the Wolves meeting Darcy is box office, His presence adds interest to any meeting. it will increase viewer interest more than any other rider. including the World Champion.. Better viewing figures =more advertising revenue.

You can see Sky's point of view. Good for Sky ,not so good for speedway but its the world we live in.

Whilst all the way crowds dwindle on a weekly basis going to the tracks.

Maybe its something to do with Matt Fraud and Sky Sports and this Euro League idea thats been mentioned a few times, how can Fraud enter any Euro League if they aint Elite Champions.

Perception can be everything and as an outsider to the EL Teams, i can see where you EL guys are coming from, it seems to happen every year more or less.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Poole are the current EL champions so they have every right to be there.................

Not really sure what all pooles fuss is about after watching Benji.

He would have scored 0 tonight if not for riders in his heats falling or rtd.

He was half a lap ahead of where Brendan would've been & will only get better.

Oh & a rule has been changed mid-season might also have something to do with it.

That is the start and finish of the whole problem. The Speedway Control Bureau have the sole authority to initiate and enforce the rules so the buck stops with them

It's no good people banging on about Matt Ford or other promoters. When you have a Control Bureau that is not in control all these things are going to happen.. If it's not Matt Ford it will be someone else unless and until the governing body have some teeth to enforce the rules ( which will probably be never)..

SCB Manager; G Reeve

I am sure everyone will know at least 2 of the members.

agree.

However, many others think it is a

hanging offence.

I do agree it is shocking what has happened again with Poole and the rules.

However think they are no better off and won't be whilst they keep sacking fast track riders instead of supporting and nurturing them like other clubs are.
