LagutaRacingFan
You wouldn't know a "fact" if it hit you in the face. Wolves fans would not have Darcy over Tai. Hence I said riding ability, Ignore the fact that Darcy is Darcy and Tai is Tai. Imagine they are just two foreigners coming over to the UK. Wolves fans didn't want Nicki Pedersen when he was world champ, That says everything you need to know. Woffinden also needed surgery-twice !How do you think the screws and steel plates got into his collar bone ? Ward's recovery time was obviously longer and his injury was much more serious. BjarneRubble
Anyway - as I said the best rider in the world doesn't want to ride for Poole! That's a relief.
Starman2006
Ward's recovery time was obviously longer and his injury was much more serious. Both riders injuries were very bad, But both riders had different circumtances.. Tai needed points to stay top of the pile become World Champ yet still continue to ride for Wolves. And Darcy needed to make sure he recovered properly to continue his season, otherwise he wouldn't have made the end of the season. So you have to say fair play to both riders..

I see the forums 2nd biggest troll is trying to win its crown back off Shov. Gotta make me laugh for anyone to suggest that a Wolves fan would choose Darcy over Tai. We are happy to have a proper role model at the club and of course he is a better rider anyway.
Starman2006
Do I? When was that then? Try the Somerset threads. Your never complimentary about any of my posts on their, eventhough they are fact and truthful. Those post are my own words and my own thoughts. But are normally right.. And while we are on the Subject, Somerset need to go to Edinbourgh to win the meeting, not just try and keep it close, otherwise they could come unstuck and give themselves to much to do in the 2nd leg. Now thats truth, not fiction.. Edited October 19, 2013 by Starman2006

LisaColette
Can't believe you are all arguing over Darcy and Tai!! But in my opinion.... I'd rather have Darcy (surprise surprise!), Tai is been amazing in the GP's this year. But Darcy has been good over last few years. I remember everyone slating the inclusion of Tai in the GP series before the season started! See what Tai does in 2014 to see who is at the higher/same level.. What nonsense, Kids are not interested in speedway so what's this role model garbage. Teenagers/Kids don't look up to speedway riders as role models, 99.9% of them don't even know who any of them are. and If my son got awful looking tattoo's and a messed up ear, I would slap him back down to earth. Gavan
Ward is better than Woffinden, There's no debate. Darcy's also more exciting and he would have been world champ if it wasn't for his injury. go take a run and jump and get off the forum I know what your saying but there would have been changes, Darcys injuries just speeded things up. thank you a decent poole fan. all this crap about Darcy and Tai Darcy Ward looks exciting on a bike compared to Tai that is fact. Who is the better rider? At the moment there is only 1 answer and that is Tai. World Champion even with injuries (and Ward even if fit wouldnt have been as the averages prove) Higher Elite league average Higher Polish league average. That isnt to say Darcy could end up better, he certainly is more exciting. Its also obvious that Poole fans wouldnt swap Darcy for Tai Its obvious Wolves wouldnt swap either. But for now although Darcy is better to watch, Tai is the better rider
pugwash
Box office - Bums on Seats- Stadium Fillers. #1 Darcy. #2 Emil.
Gavan
Box office - Bums on Seats- Stadium Fillers. #1 Darcy. #2 Emil. Dont disagree with that but that isnt the question. Bums on seats doesnt necessarily win you things. Otherwise Mark Loram would have won 3 or 4 titles and been top of the averages each season. Steve Shovlar
1. Ward 2. Josh G 3. THJ 4. Tungate 5. Holder 6. Newman 7. Howarth Good enough to retain the title.

Howarth Good enough to retain the title. certainly better than the 1-7 you started with this year. I can see that 1-7 topping the table all season only for a side that was middle to bottom get in a few changes, storm into the play offs last minute and then thrash everyone. Has that happened before?
Panthers89
Not sure it will be strong enough, granted Holder/Ward will score 25+ everytime, but where will the other 20 come from away from home?
