I'd remove that massive chip on your shoulder before you go to bed.. could be a tad uncomfortable..

Which bit of the post you quote is incorrect? What I've copied from the Sky website or that Ford is using a different rider each match?

I thought everyone knew by now that when Starman gets all defensive and posting rhetorical bull that you knew you were onto a winner and it was basically his way of confirming what you had posted.

Expect the "You is all just jelus of us" post soon.

I'm finding all this so predicable, that out of all the teams in British Speedway, it is Poole who are always the club who are bending the rules to suit their situations. Every other club is able to do it by the book, but not them.

The other part I find amazing is, although all the other club's supporters can see Matt Ford obvious deceptions for what they are, the Poole supporter are doing their hardest to convince themselves and others that Matt Ford is doing no wrong.

Yep - truly wonderful.

And so 'new' that you've still got a sacked rider showing as one of your 2014 team line-up.

It will show all riders that signed for Poole over the season..........always has done and always will.............

I really really really am not seeing the issue with Poole. Yes, Poole have played plenty of shenanigans in the past but on this occasion there is absolutely nothing what so ever to look at. The rules are bloody simple

Smart is declared rider

Smart was sacked and replaced

Replacement got injured so prior declaration continues so Smart was asked & rode on the 30th and still managed to pick up another £120 cheque for doing fook all.

Smart is still sacked by the way but remains in the declared team as that's all the Fast Track rule allows

Rules only state that a missing Fast Track rider can only be replaced by a Fast Track rider with the same or below grading. It's not a facility as such as the Fast Track riders are seen as just filling gaps as you can't have missing reserves. This is what Poole are doing.

WTF is people's issue as on this occasion the Poole noses are clean, 100%.

What is it people want Poole to do as they've done what they need to do, the rest is down to the BSPA. None of it is Poole's problem

AT LAST, somebody (other than Poole supporters) grasp things! Maybe now all the boremasters will stop. This is exactly as things stand. Period.

Somehow though I suspect that things will still rage on.....and on.....and on....and on....and on....and on.....and on....and on.....

Thats fine, but they won't be able to replace Lee with Benji Compton when the latter is fit (as was mentioned earlier in the thread) as he is now above Lee in FT rider list.

Thanks Screamer, I was going to respond again but you've summed it up completely!!

Now, far more important and something for all the anti-Poole/anti-Ward posters to get their teeth into - Middlo stated on BBC radio this morning that Darcy Ward will be out for at least another 4-5 weeks and is even thinking about having the knee op sooner than the end of the season, depending on more specialist advice!!

Holder is only on a temporary 'stop-gap' arrangement and as he starts his Danish commitments almost immediately, will not be a long term answer.

So maybe for the Poole faithful, Wimborne Road will need to become 'fortress Poland'!!!!! :o

You can't have a facility for a sacked rider. You can't have a facility for a rider who has never raced for you.

Would it be OK for Birmingham to announce they have sacked Daniel Nermark and brought in Tomasz Gollob. But Tomasz doesn't fancy it now so they're going to use guests for him?

But not having a facility means they have to use a 3 pointer? Which is what they are doing. Smart is still in their team declaration (afaik) so even though it appears he has been sacked/retired they would still be able to replace him with someone lower on the list until they redeclare. What is important is that when they do re-declare they use the list as it is post 1st May and not before.

It is quite possible that, assuming Compton's declaration has been accepted, that he will be sacked/stood down before he has turned a wheel for Poole. He is side lined for another 4 weeks!

Meanwhile he now holds a place in the draft a few places above Lee Smart. Poole can now sign another draft climbing in form hot shot to replace Compton before the June positions are announced.

Any bets on Poole not having 2 riders in the top 10 before the play offs?

Give it up SCB - there is no facility, its a 3 pointer from the list of reserves!!

And NO in your example Gollob wouldn't be allowed to replace Nermark and NO they wouldn't be able to use guests for him in the 1-5!!

if it's as plain and simple as you say, why all the secrecy from poole. They announced nothing prior and immediately post the belle vue meeting. Always seems to be poole involved in whatever underhand dealings appear to be going on in the el. There must be a reason for this.

Wrong. Smart hasn't or has yet to be replaced.

If he was or is there would be no problem.
