I don't buy the SS so haven't seen the article, however that seems absolutely ridiculous.

Imagine if Holder was to get injured now and miss some meetings for Poole, does that mean they would have to use guests/rider replacement when they have a fit Darcy Ward waiting to ride again? Like you said, I can't see any issue with the previous injured rider signing once he is fit again regardless of time frame.

You mean the rule that exists is useless??

What is the point of having a `minimum 28 day replacement` facility if it isn't adhered too?? I agree the rule itself needs updating because Ward should be able to return to Poole if he is fit before the `minimum 28 days`.

If you don't stick to one rule then why stick to any?? That`s what the rules are meant to achieve.

That is what Middlo`s comment about `adhering to the rules` means i would imagine.

If you wish you posts to be illiterate please continue. If you don't know how to spell something why bother trying to use it ?

And by the way there is a modern invention called a spellchecker.................................................................................. :D

Perhaps you should have used one (or proof read your post).

Milk's current average is 7.20, He has 1 home meeting left to do and 3 away.

If he somehow manages to keep his average around 6, Madsen or THJ could come in to form a awesome quartret with Darky, Magic, Shamek.

Jeez, the seasons only just started, and your giving riders the chop already. The Gaul of you....

If a second string rider in his first EL season does achieve a rolling average of 7.20 after 4H/4A, why on earth would you be looking to replace him with riders of a much lower EL average???

A lot of second string riders are going to have inflated averages in the new format.

They have two races against reserves and second strings.

Better than being in a blue tinted home with your comrades Shov/Poole Quay/Home Straight. :t::P

How revealing to see he has got Poole and those mentioned so bad.

And to think the keyboard warrior actually believes he personally doesn't troll, or writes flaming rhetoric on here every day

Up the Pirates Steve!

rules are rules , why should darcy be allowed to ride if the rules say he carnt , doesnt matter about the rules looking wrong , poole knew the rules when they redeclared with holder , maybe they should of had a better look at darcy injury first and then decided , they knew the rules about 28 day contracts, they chose to redeclare , you can not change or relax the rules as and when to suit , rules are rules end of..............

poole seem to think that watever seems to suit the agenda ie , sticking to the letter of the law , or trying to make the rules are odd / outdated etc , to suit themselves .....

Its not Poole fans that are saying Darcy should return early!!! Most of us are fully aware that the facility is for 'a minimum of 28 days' which allows Darcy to return to British speedway for May 14th if fully fit - which judging by his post-GP comments is looking increasingly unlikely!!!

Edited for update:-

And now confirmed Darcy likely to be out for more than the original 28 days, having damaged his knee further in the Bydgoszcz GP.
