Steve Shovlar
Looks like Newmans had a bad crash tonight at Peterborough. Ambulance on track and leg being put in splint. Get well soon Kyle.
Crazy robin
I noticed that with some riders and wondered the same thing. My guess is that they opted out of the draft initially. I think you're right that it's because they opted out originally. Looks like Newmans had a bad crash tonight at Peterborough. Ambulance on track and leg being put in splint. Get well soon Kyle. Here, here as he's had some bad injuries already in his career & hope it's not as bad as it sounds.

Initial reports are saying that Kyle may have a broken femur. If true I'm gutted for Kyle. Get well soon lad!
Steve0
Initial reports are saying that Kyle may have a broken femur. If true I'm gutted for Kyle. Get well soon lad! Don't like to hear about any rider getting injured. He was riding well on Monday night too. He will be hard to replace - what options are available to the Pirates? Everyone below him in the draft? Not great for Poole either with Smart being off the pace!

Gavan
Bad news for the lad nobody likes to see injuries. Poole can now only replace with whats left in the draft I believe?
stevebrum
Hope the gloom of his crash isn't as bad as feared. He has looked like he means business this year and could be a big chance to impress in reserve this season. Fingers crossed for him, he deserves a bit of luck.
Pirate Nick
Latest update from Kyles dad says that initial X-rays show no fractures or damage to the pin in the leg. His leg is very swollen and they will X-ray again when the swelling goes down to confirm.

A rider's just been involved in a nasty crash and may be seriously injured and your going on about a replacement. Your a disgrace.
Tom Turner
A rider's just been involved in a nasty crash and may be seriously injured and your going on about a replacement. Your a disgrace. Now hold on just a moment... I'm not disagreeing that Gavan is a disgrace, but on this occasion he didn't do anything wrong. He made a fair comment about how nobody wants to see a rider injured. Pre emptive speculation is part and parcel of the sport and isn't meant in a disrespectful way. A forum is for discussion and exchange of thoughts and opinion, not just to comment on facts and news. The way he inclined the post suggests to me that he was mocking the fact that Poole might have to replace the fantastic Kyle Newman with a reject rider from the draft. Daniel Smith
Let's hope that Newman is just battered up a little. He's had some good momentum this season so far and it needs to continue for him personally. Losing Newman will certainly end any chances of Poole even making the top 4, let alone win the League and this is one down point to the draft system. No like for like changes

It doesn't seem his injuries are as bad as first thought - pending a further x-ray
Steve Shovlar
If Kyle is out for a while can't Poole use guests to Kyles draft pick? So basically everyone to Garrity. No team should be expected to use a rider at the bottom of the B list to replace an A grade reserve. As for Friday our options are severely limited but I am sure Matt is already on the case. Charles Wright might be available for the morning meeting-unless he`s guesting elsewhere.
semion
Here's hoping the injury is nowhere near as bad as first being reported. Good Luck to the lad, and wish him a speedy recovery.

Would imagine guests would be okay to use. Think the rule is you can't use the same guest more than 3 times during season. The biggest problem is the availability of guests. Hopefully Kyle won't be out long
