stevebrum
There should be NO special dispensation of any form for any club, thats what gets the sport into a mess! Stick to the rules! However it should be made transparent that ALL teams can get a special dispensation for missing number one riders as RR and guests rarely are an adequate cover. Love it that the Anti Poole Brigade (APB) are getting their knickers in a twist and trying to call us cheats when we are following the rules correctly. Like special dispensation is within the rules. Steve Shovlar
There's no special dispensation required PMSL!!! We can do this. time for you to learn the rules instead of spouting inaccurate rubbish. Where's your mate Gavan? He's good at that as well. Starman2006
Even if it were a 'temporary guest replacement', for home meetings Poole could get a guest upto 9.52 (Darcy's 9.07 + 5%)!! I'm sure its a 28-day cover for DW as he's confirmed he is not having an op and is targeting a return for SGP on 26th! Yup, nothing wrong with that. The "brains" on this forum need to check before throwing all their toys and dummys out of their prams...
Dave Jones
The problem with people spouting off when its all above board is that it dilutes the argument when there is skullduggery going on. Did you mean to type skull&crossbonesduggery there?
SCB
Yup, nothing wrong with that. The "brains" on this forum need to check before throwing all their toys and dummys out of their prams... Says the man who threw his toys out the pram and didn't check his facts about who was declared in the Poole 1-7 this season!
Najjer
Like special dispensation is within the rules. PMFSL. What is special dispensation being given for?
hagonshocker
Kinda makes perfect sense your missing your out and out number one and you utilise an asset of your club to take is place for up to 28 days....Ward Holder Holder Ward Tomato Tomarto so what?....hardly strengthening them and evry other club could do the same..apart from Birmingham who havent got any assets to call up but thats by the by!...Swindon could.....if we lost PK or Troy for a while we could call on Miedzinski....no praps not....Pavlic...nah scrub that....Zeng........oh lets hope we get no injuries! Good call by Ford one that everybody else would try and do if possible

Can you please show us where there is any mention of temporary replacements in the rules, as you seem to be fully aware of the rules from your statement. The only mention that I can find is for a facility for guest or r/r. The Guest must be in a current Team Declaration or on the FTDP List and in the case of a Guest for the #6 or #7 on the FTDP List only. I have no idea what the FTDP List is. Please explain.
Steve Shovlar
Well as Gavan is currently not about I had better fill in for him. (This is meant as light hearted before anyone gets upset) you really quite simply are clueless, blinkered call it what you want. ITS ANTI POOLE - ITS THE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If rules are made then why should Poole get dispensation? Not sure how Holder can come in for Darcy! Where's the rule????????????? Once again Poole bending the rules. Imagine the uproar if this was any other club. You know what Shovlar is like. He accepts cheating as part and parcel of the sport!!!!!!!!!!'!!!!!!! League season hasnt even started and the pirates dont change and nor do their moronic posters (4 or 5 excepted)

Red Panda
Confirmed...........as long as we do not exceed the total of 32 points there is nothing in the rule book to state that we cannot use our own asset to replace Ward............... http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/11144033.Poole_Pirates__Holder_to_replace_Ward_for_a_month/ RP

The question has been whether Ward can simply come back in regardless of that limit.
Wolfsbane
Won't even bother reading the thread. It's not difficult to work out the antis/pros from the last page. All I will say is to compare the 'within the rules' protestations to a cabinet minister who got hers this week as she was claiming dosh that she protested was 'within the rules'. She just didn't get it. For Maria Miller read Matt Ford, curse him but don't blame him. The easy way to stop troughers like Miller and chancers like Ford is to sort the bloody rules out. Over to you BSPA. Edited April 11, 2014 by Wolfsbane
foreverblue
Very pleased with this news, all at Poole love Chris Holder and welcome him back with open arms, having been at Brandon on the night of his horrific crash, it's amazing he is riding again so soon. Gavan
Long as Darcy fits in under the limit then all is well. Wouldnt be stunned to see Holder stay on longer

Over to you BSPA. Name the rule that Matt Ford is supposedly breaking!!?? Poole have redeclared - still within the 32 point 1-5 - for a minimum of 28 days. As long as Holder maintains an average above Darcy's then Darcy will return when fit! Edited April 11, 2014 by Skidder1
