Woz01
Are you seriously gloating about breaking the rules? Typical Poole posters on here and you wonder why Poole are generally hated amongst fans. Poor form from you lot. Hopefully NKI is already booked! Riding for Kings Lynn.

No rules have been broken unless you want to make one up. Grachan has quoted the rule where we can use a guest. How have they broken the rules?  I want to join the anti-Poole brigade, so somebody give me the justification please. Can I join as well? Boooo!! Horrible Poole. Dirty cheating scoundrels.  Er, what did they cheat?  Perhaps Matt can get Chris holder standing in for 28 days for Darcy. Would make sense. Everybody could clearly see Darcy was injured on Saturday, and therefore, as ive said in another post, if a rider has a broken leg Shoulder arm hand wrist or whatever, that club, should get a facillity, end of. you've got to cover your No 1 with like for like, , otherwise you de-value the product. Gavan
The more controversy the better its so enjoyable, oh btw I actually think Cook is a good guest booking and we will overturn the budgies easily by 10-15 points. of course Cook is a good booking. try telling the troll I really really hope, we retain the title this season with LOADS of controversy. shows you for exactly what you are Nobody is gloating about anything, but this is where the rules are an ass. Poole Quay 7
You horrible Poole lot upsetting some people on here and in return, make them feel the strong need to show what bounders and dirty rotten scoundrels you are.  Can't you just enjoy the thought of knowing how much it must have gutted them seeing Darcy lift the winners cup last season and how some of the them have been harbouring that thought throughout the winter   Up The Pirates All Edited April 7, 2014 by Poole Quay 7
BWitcher
I really really hope, we retain the title this season with LOADS of controversy.  Of course, so the sport can continue its slide into oblivion.   You want me to keep digging? OK, give me a spade. I'll keep digging. Dig, dig, dig (sorry, childlike again and I do know how you hate that)...  CLANG!! Oh! What's this?  This is the original Poole team according to the Completed teams thread.,  Poole (completed) 1. Darcy Ward. 9.07 2. Maciej Janowski 6.95 3. Josh Grajczonek(d/u) 4.48 4. Vaclav milik. 4.00 5. Shamek Pawlicki. 7.15 6. Kyle Newman 7. Lee Smart  And this is the rule on where a facility can be granted:  16.5.2 Where an absent Rider has either (a) an assessed MA, or ( b ) has been approved in a team’s declared line up at the start of the season then a 28 day Facility may be granted at MC’s discretion .   Nice digging... but if you would care to point me in the direction of any rule/guideline suggesting that the BSF Completed Teams Thread has any official status I would be glad to read it.  I think that is your most desperate post yet!  So as said, stop acting like a child and grow up.  For Poole to track a guest for Ward means special dispensation will have been given for it. Given the circumstances that makes a lot of sense.. are there any circumstances similar to this in the past where special dispensation has NOT been given?

BWitcher
No rules have been broken unless you want to make one up. Â Grachan has quoted the rule where we can use a guest. Â Â No Grachan quoted a rule, but then quoted the BSF to justify it! Slight error there. Â As above, Poole will have requested permission for a guest and its been granted. They have been given special dispensation (makes sense). Denying that will just simply drag the thread on and on and on.
YerRopes
Whatever the rules, Poole should be allowed a guest/facility for Darcy as his absence is genuine.. Â It short-changes all supporters when an NL guest has to be used instead of an EL No 1 - as was the case last year when Hans was missing for Swindon (and yes I know the circumstances were different)... Woz01
I personally think no club should get any special dispensation, these things are never ruled evenly and its causes issues. I know this rule in particular is a rubbish one but rules are rules and others in the past have had to adhere to whats written in the rulebook. I hope they change this rule in future. The first Poole team showing Chris Holder on the BSPA website is from 24 March. The season began on 9 March. That's why I looked on here instead. Â Darcy Ward is clearly announced on the BSPA website as having signed for Poole back in December 2013. So at what point was Chris Holder put into the side in his place? Was it before 9 March? Â The news that Poole were using Holder for Ward was put on the Swindon website on March 25, which is more than 2 weeks later than the start of the season. Â Clearly they re-declared with Holder to use him in the Elite Shield. But Ward was in the original side at the start of the year. We all know that. At least most of us do. Â I'm not desperate at all. Why would I be desperate to prove Poole correct? It's just that that's how it is. Â Poole have requested permission as a guest for Darcy, its been granted. I think it's a sensible decision but as said earlier I would be interested to know if there are any cases where teams have NOT been granted this dispensation. SteveLyric2
For all those Poole (and many other) fans upset at the likelihood of not seeing Darcy race for maybe upto a month, tune into Sky Sports 2 at 7pm or 10pm this evening to be reminded about how Poole beat all the odds and won the EL title last year!! Â Go on you know you want to.......!! Â Â ps. As for the rules, don't they include a rule that' the BSPA MC can overrule anything in the interest of speedway'!!
