Just keep fans in the loop then conspiracy theorists (me included) haven't got a leg to stand on. # Lee Smart has been sacked/resigned/is injured. # He will be replaced by X on DD/MM v Y. # The replacement X has been injured so we will be using guests until DD/MM when he will be fit. It's almost as if they don't do this on purpose as they need the time to argue the toss about what is/isn't within the rules. If they can't agree they roll out the 'in the interests of speedway' gollox. I guess we'll continue with guests and see who performs?! That will only be true if Poole use riders available on the draft who are below Smart and who have not got a team place. If nothing has been announced how can it suddenly have been `replaced`. You are meant to `declare` changes. No surprise you support cheating in the name of blue bias. Smart is still in the declared 1-7. They may have thought about replacing Smart with Compton, and even gone as far as telling Smart he was being sacked...but with Compton getting injured they never made the change. Since they've sacked Smart and not replaced him, they're using a guest (call it what you like) for a non-existent rider. In effect, they've got a six man team with a hole where their seventh rider should be, and plugging that hole with any rider they want subject to certain conditions.. I'm not saying they're getting any advantage from what they're doing but surely, just running with a (declared) six man team must be against the rules.
