The White Knight
Wrestling is very much like speedway on sky tv in that results are predetermined before hand, all in the interests of whats best for business of course. You've been watching the WWE - haven't you? But - is Daniel Bryan 'Good for Business'? - I think not. I don't watch it - but my Son does for a laugh. Let's hope that Speedway never gets to the stage that folk watch it for a laugh - it is far more serious than that. Mind you - the way things are going.......................................................... Marks Electricals LG 55" ultra 4K HD tv with 7 pairs 3D glasses, gaming glasses, 2.2 sound bar.... sale offer £14, 999!! I don't think Dickie Davies and Dave Lanning will be happy about 4K! They no longer have a 'best side' and it will show every imperfection! mickthemuppet
I appear to have started a whole new thread within a thread! On YouTube there is Bert Royal v Steve Logan in a singles match. Meanwhile - let's hope there is some announcement soon regarding live league speedway on a channel, be it Sky, BT, Eurosport etc. What about Kendo Nagasaki the masked mystery man from Japan with the red eyes. "Give us a lift to manchester" said 'Ted' 1. "Sorry mate, car's full" says Billy. "that's ok, pal, we'll take the car, GET OUT!" says 'Ted' 2. "What happened next?" says my old fella. ....."We got out".
Walshy1974
Bit off topic but still Sky.. The speedway coverage may've not always be to everyone's satisfaction, but Sky've definitely got it right with there "Myspecialday" series which started today. Get a tissue ready (it's not porn) if you have a heart.

I can't remember the exact details of what led up to it but a similar thing happened. Andre in his youth would not be someone you would want to anger lol
SteveLyric2
So a 5-year TV-only deal with Sky again - and the chance to attract a new 'Main' sponsor for the League(s)!! That should at least assist clubs and riders in attracting their own corporate sponsors! Edited December 4, 2013 by Skidder1
SpeedwayTShirts
Who were the last firm / brand to put their name to speedway prior to Sky Sports?
Walshy1974
Who were the last firm / brand to put their name to speedway prior to Sky Sports? Gawd knows, but the elite league could be onto a nice money spinner if they play this right. Advertising on a big scale to potentially millions.
