Steve0
No surprise there then - the other signings will hopefully contain a few surprises - I'll settle for one
Phil The Ace
? Pedersen 8.12 Woodward 6.34 Kylmakorpi 7.12 Gustafsson 5.17 Michelsen 5.00 = 31.75 That would be a good Eastbourne team that
tractorboy
? Pedersen 8.12 Woodward 6.34 Kylmakorpi 7.12 Gustafsson 5.17 Michelsen 5.00 = 31.75 personally think Simon should have a year somewhere else he only hit some form in the last couple of matches.... if they go go with him then he needs to hit the ground running
Hackett
No surprises, but in a diluted Elite League gives us a decent enough no.1 and Cam is the heartbeat of the Eagles. Mikkelsen is the key on his average , then take one of either Gustaffson / Dryml / Lahti and a new rider.
ruckerroo
I don't think lahti is the right pick of the 3 tbh,
SteveLyric2
? Pedersen 8.12Woodward 6.34Kylmakorpi 7.12Gustafsson 5.17Michelsen 5.00 = 31.75 One of the potential problems with that 1-5, plus an extended fixture list, will be the number of Longtrack clashes for Woodward and Kylmakorpi??! Sophies Mate
With the two we have signed I personally would prefer to have Mikkel and Kim back with a new rider and the two new reserves not sure if they would all fit in with enough left over for the last one?
Agrotron
Well the first two signings are good for Eastie, think Gustafsson needs to go to a new track and ply his craft.

Alan_Jones
Lahti & Gustafsson could do well with a year in premier league maybe. The PL shouldn't be a training ground for failed EL riders.

Definitely go with the 4 above, (Michelsen is a must get), for the remaining place I'd like to see someone with racing commitment like Jason Doyle or Rory Schlien, who both put in decent performances at Arlington in 2013.
ruckerroo
Schlein would be an ideal second heat leader , I got shot down for that suggestion about 80 posts back

stevebrum
Schlein would be an ideal second heat leader , I got shot down for that suggestion about 80 posts back A lot of responsibility as a 2nd heat leader and he usually struggles to cope with that pressure. Is he on a bargain average or is that really his ability these days?

Rory seems to be the modern day Travis Mcgowan where every season people say he has a false average & they should sign him.
ruckerroo
He does go well at eastbourne tbh and he's at least capable away from home. Joonas can go missing in a season with them other commitments tbh
