All it says at the moment is we have official practice day in the morning and then track is being prepared for his testimonial in the evening.

Planning my day already. I shall watch the P&P, mingle a bit in the pits and take in the sights and smells of those beautiful bikes. Then I shall pop off for a Toby Carvery before arriving back at the track for the meeting.

Cant wait!!

Bjarne, Cam, Lewis and F. Lindgren so far from JKs Facebook

I will be surprised if Freddie rides.

He is seen as a doubt for the meeting at Wolves on the previous Monday because they fly the bikes out to Amsterdam ready for the GP`s.

If he is a doubt for the meeting at Wolves he must be more of a doubt for the Saturday.

Freddie has been confirmed for Havvy's Farewell the night before (21st March)!

From Wolves site

Boss Chris Van Straaten said: “PK is still a firm favourite here and I can also confirm Freddie Lindgren is looking at a way for him to do it if possible. It’s a nice way for us to start the season at Monmore.

It seems odd if its only a possible on the Monday but a definate on the Fri and sat!

Eastbourne Speedway invite supporters to attend the annual fans’ forum at the stadium clubroom on Sunday, February 16, at 11am.

The annual event is a chance for people to catch up with the winter’s happenings and look forward to the season ahead which begins next month.

Club promoters Bob Dugard, Trevor Geer and Mike Bellerby will be there to take questions from the audience.

Club captain Cameron Woodward (pictured) is now back in the UK and it is hoped he will be able to attend the meeting.

Bellerby said: “The forum is always a popular event as it heralds the fact that the season is not far away.

“This is always a good session which we know many of our fans look forward to. They can ask us about the team and we can also give them the latest news and gain their feedback.”

The meeting is also an opportunity for fans to buy Elite League Passes and apply to join the 100 Club which now costs just £250. Alternatively, you can buy an Elite League Pass, apply to join the 100 Club and advance tickets for our early-season matches at www.eastbourneeagles.co

The pre-season meeting for all officials and track staff will take place before the forum, starting at 10am.

This thread is shorter than the queue at the turnstiles.

well as for a change we had the team sorted out pretty quickly and didn't have to discuss why its taking so long to get a team together!

If anyone is going to the fans forum or the staff meeting on Sunday there has been a message about using the the stock car gate - this is the first gate if you are coming from the A22 or the second gate if coming from the A27 and parking in the woods due to the carpark being a tad wet and they are worried that it could be waterlogged by sunday and people will have problems in getting in or out. Still if they did would give Bob a good excuse to get the tractor our and tow people out!

Kim Nilsson looks extremely unlikely to be fit for the start of the new Eastbourne Speedway season in a month’s time.

He was badly injured while training in America and his recovery is set to take a few more weeks.

Lifestyle Eagles' co-promoter and team manager Trevor Geer said: “We and Kim hope he will be fit to race again at the beginning of May. That is what he is aiming for but we must ensure he is fully fit before we bring him in.”

Nilsson, who suffered a fractured vertebrae in his neck and back, is now home in Sweden.

Geer is considering all options on how to cover for Nilsson’s absence but confirmed Timo Lahti had been spoken to.

He said: “We have to think very carefully about all the options that are open to us and ensure we know the consequences of any course of action we take.”
