maneacat
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/speedway/20157067 Interesting but still no direct quotes from Joonas only Trevor Geer - don't get me wrong I am not suggesting he said anything other than what he knew (I have no knowledge of how Mr. Geer operates so am not accusing him). He didn't join Peterborough until July and only rode 6 home and 6 away for us - maybe by then he was looking for/realising extra meetings would be good or more easily fitted in plus we were not a weekend home track bearing in mind his Long Track and Polish commitments. I do think his style is much more suited to the EoEs (or similar) than Arlington (or any other small track) and that may or may not have had a bearing on his decision to race in the UK afterall in 2013. Be interesting to see if he now comes back for you or any other UK club in 2014.

SteveLyric2
What has this to do with Eastbourne 2014? The article says he would reconsider EL for future years - so is he or isn't he? Edited December 10, 2013 by Skidder1

foreverblue
Good signing has never let anyone down and anyone is allowed to change their mind.
Woz01
What points have Eastbourne got left? Looks to me like the league could well be tight in 2014.
sussex bulldog
I agree that it is an excellent signing. Just hope MM is one of the remaining two riders.
SteveLyric2
It'll be very interesting to see the Eagles re-arranged fixture list with all the Longtrack commitments for both Kylmakorpi and Woodward, presumably?! Hasn't Uncle Bob stated in the past that he loses more money when racing on off-nights? So with an increased fixture list, will Eagles fans have more guests and r/r ? muirspud
2 from Lahti, Gustaffson, Nilsson, Dryml perhaps? Or a new signing with 1 of the mentioned?
Pirates Of Poole
So will you be seeing Mikkel back?
Brummie Kev
So will you be seeing Mikkel back? Taken from Twitter Mikkel Michelsen @MichelsenRacing 21m Just a few days and everything is sorted for 2014. Who will it be, that's the question❓
Racin Jason 72
Did MM ride enough matches to qualify as a Eastbourne asset ? If not I fear he will be Poole bound.
Pirates Of Poole
Seems strange as If I was the Eastie promotion he would have been the first to get singed up.

Pirates Of Poole
Maybe they are building up the signing but cant see him going to Poole - Maybe Wolves.
Crazy robin
Seems strange as If I was the Eastie promotion he would have been the first to get singed up. They can only do that if the rider lets them so this must mean he must be going elsewhere.
