markyb
Very impressed with Sarjeant and especially so Garrity whose style is very entertaining and much reminds me of john cook, but without the leg in the air. Ryan looked to be carrying a few extra pounds of weight to the last time I saw him. What the hell was wrong with the Hansen kevlar's. - seems he is black and lime !!! But hey, he looked good too ! Mr Harris though stood out for me though. I know you can't tell as an individual on practice day, but looked younger than his years. Hans was Hans and so pleased for the guy - good luck for the coming season to him. Reckon we got something good with Kyle as well. On the face of it an impressive prospect as a whole for 2014. Good luck guys.

Bee 26
Good turnout yesterday, looking forward to seeing our new team start the season. Hans looked quick and his equipment looked first class Garity is going to add some thrills and spills to a meeting, let's just hope he manages to hang on with that riding style! Let's hope they will sort out the PA before the season starts...

Woz01
Hansen is certainly making the right noises for us fans. Basically saying he loves the club already and it was his dream to ride for the Bees. He will certainly be very good at Brandon.
Woz01
Bees are 9/1 with William Hill to win the Elite League, Kings Lynn and Poole joint favourites at 9/4. Thats very short for me especially for Poole.
john birch
I'd concur with a lot of what has been said. Garrity looked like a scaled down Kildemand. And yes, Sargent looked good. But i've said all along that ourselves, Stars and Hammers have vastly better reserve pairings than some, Eg Swindon BV and Leicester in particular. Sat in the stand I can say that Hans' bike was hooking up brilliantly off the start. Kings Lynn look like a 2014 version of Ipswich 1998 in what passes for an Elite League these days. But no reason why we can't be best of the rest. Assuming no one replaces a second string with an inflated average in July with a heat leader! Really looking forward to it because there is no one in the team that makes you wonder what were THEY thinking of! You can make a case for all of them. Swindon (give or take aforementioned PK), Birmingham and Leicester look awful IMO. Edited March 15, 2014 by tiberon

Thats very short for me especially for Poole.i think those prices are about right hans aint in the same league as ward , pooles 2nd strings won't get beat by n.l riders , pawlicki is as good if not better than harris , jankowski is far superior to Hansen ,and lets not forget newman has plenty of experience of elite tracks

Woz01
Without wishing to dampen your spirits what else would you expect him to say?. He has also said similar on twitter before signing for the Bees. Stating its his favourite track etc. It was his aim when he did a few meetings over here at the end of last season. Don't see many other riders as enthusiastic about signing for a club as him. i think those prices are about right hans aint in the same league as ward , pooles 2nd strings won't get beat by n.l riders , pawlicki is as good if not better than harris , jankowski is far superior to Hansen ,and lets not forget newman has plenty of experience of elite tracks I didn't say Poole shouldn't be higher than us in the betting, they should. For me 9/4 is too short, I think they will struggle at the smaller away tracks and can't see there reserves gaining many heat advantages, I only see Newman 3rd best out of the draft. Janowski goes missing too often but Pawlicki is a decent signing. Ward is obviously top notch and Grajzonek will be a decent 2nd string. Milik is the key for them but he will certainly struggle away initally.

Arguably you could say Coventry are on the downward spiral. Andersen is certainly still a number one, but even at Swindon he wasn't really the 'Hans of old' single figure scores started creeping in, especially last year. Is Bomber really going to cut the mustard this year? Two poor seasons in a row now averaging a really disappointing 7 points per meeting...isn't he in his thirties now? Fisher? Is he also in decline? Hansen....remains to be seen, been here before and not pulled up any trees. Sure you have a good reserve pairing, but I would put the Bees on par with Swindon, battling for a play off place. Are you kidding re Hans? 5th in the EL average in 2013. 2 of those above him (Lindgren and Holder) are not riding n the EL in 2014. He's one of the best up there with Woffy, Puk and Ward. 4 single figure scores last season - 3 of them were only from 4 rides and not 5 - 1 of them in the meting your guys went on strike. Another was in the play-offs at Poole where he had to ride because despite being injured, Swindon couldn't get a guest. He had a bad meeting at Peterborough. As I see it we have 1 of the top 3 heatleaders. The bets reserve. Possibly the best number 7 too. I think Coventry will be top 3 with Lynn and Poole. Swindon will fail due to only having 4 and a half riders - Klindt is a waste of time these days.
EnglishRoundabout
I did say however that Hans is still a number one. He definitely isn't the Hans of old. Ask any Panthers fan. They will tell you how aggressive and uncompromising he used to be. I saw him get passed at Blunsdon by many riders who years ago wouldn't have had a sniff. You have got to hope there are no 'personality clashes' and 'internal differences' at your club this year as Hans is very influential.......Gary Havelock......ahem....cough cough..... LagutaRacingFan
Hans used to walk on water in 2006/2007. He was banging in 18 point maximums at Monmore Green. Good rider now but nowhere near his old level, He used to have swag and an aura about him.

Andersen is a class act, I and many other Panthers fans would have much sooner had Hans leading the team rather than the wet lettuce we have had for a few years.
Woz01
Season ticket holders from any other club can come to Coventry or Peterborough home meetings for £10. Good work from the promotion.
