kingbee
Just as well Team GB don't have a team in the 'One Sport' Pairs in Poland on 28th after all then!!? Harris might not have been picked anyway
FTM
a 30 yr old who never shown half tai"s ability, a average in watered down elite, that wouldn't of even managed to be a ht leader in the past......sell your posh car, get a loan, get a sponsor, work during the winter, dontbgo holding out your hand!! How long you been watching speedway cos saying Chris has never shown half the ability than Tai is an insult. Tai wouldn,t have been World Champion IMO if Emil had not got injured he was also lucky Hampel got injured taking him out of the equasion and Mr Polish Speedway decided his heart wasn,t in it any more.In the league the last two seasons before Chris left the Bees he was single handly carrying the team and Bham track never really suited his style . Everyone knows at this period of time a lot of people are struggling to make ends meet and I don,t understand why you have to have a pop at him for doing something about getting a package together to allow him to compete If you don,t want to take part thats fine but no need to put the boot in from your high and mighty tower...

Not sure how you can say that about Tai. Bare in mind he was riding with a broken collarbone himself for half the year and was ahead of Emil when Emil got injured. Hampel was never injured. I do agree though that to claim Harris doesn't have half of Tais ability is a stupid statement.

Woz01
Unfortunetly for Chris many riders he will compete with will have an even more impressive balance sheet. Just shows how much money riders can actually make these days especially the top league in Poland.

BluPanther
so the guys made some money! perhaps if you had a talent you too could make the money.. or is it the politics of envy yet again? I run my own business thank you, i have no desire or need to be envious. Bomber can make as much as he likes from his talent, most people would wish him well, but begging for money off fans when he clearly doesn't need it, is clearly wrong on many levels. His internet appeal is aimed at mug punters, he obviously never expected someone like Midland Red to have the brains to expose him...
Gemini
I don't think we need to bother about this too much as the total is still £120. No doubt quite a lot of us have a favourite charity who we give to now and again like I do. Speedway fans aren't daft and I wouldn't class The Chris Harris G.P. Fund as one that deserves much input.

Plus a speedway career is short so those figures are not exactly massive when you consider that. Buying a house is hardly wasted money like renting, he has a right to look after his and families future. As i said earlier if you want to put into his fund you can and if not dont, its quite simple!

speedracing
People obviously don't realise how much it costs to race in speedway like how much each bike costs, each engine, each service, fuel costs, flight costs, hotel costs, Mechanic wages, vans etc and the dates on the accounts you are inappropriately sharing is quite out of date.Don't see you slagging off other riders who do fan sponsorship / fund me pages. Think your post is childish and quite offensive, and sad to think that that's how you spend your time. Maybe you should have a 1:1 chat with bomber and let him show you all the outgoings of the business before you make your rude judgments based on no real facts!
SCB
And he probably has a large mortgage too. Just because you live in a relatively expensive house doesn't mean you own it. large mortgages are not given out free of charge. You have a large mortgage, you have large payments. Banks allow you a large mortgage with large payments because you earn large amounts. The average person would not be given a mortgage to by a house that costs 345k. waiheke1
surely a testimonial/farewell is more than sufficient to take care of his familyWhat do u reckon a rider gets from a testimonial - 10-15k? Nice sure, but in itself hardly going to set you up for retirement at the age of say 35 is it?
