i dont think anyone could have motivated last years team to be honest.

it just didnt jell and there were no riders in the team that could bring it together, they were all struggling.

im sure he will be given time to show what he can do, should be no excuses this year thou.

im sure he doesn't get the large anti poole feeling at Coventry, why should he he wasnt involved in the "troubles"

however he does now, all he needs to know is that we would rather step in dog mess then praise poole.

he has a good "english speaking" team, he knows we detest poole, no more slip ups!

the problem is poole is now so infected by MF you cant separate them!

its an interesting topic. generally on the internet you ignore the voices because its always "self selecting extreme views"

in the case of Coventry V Poole, the views on this forum i would say are generally very tame, the vast majority of bees fans have a far more extreme view of what they think!

I can't remember any Bees fans complaining about the team building this year, within reason I imagine most Bees fans are reasonably content. Indeed most Bees fans I know are pretty happy with both the Bees and Storm's team this year.

With regards to Peter York I imagine it is the considered view of fans everywhere that he is past his sell by date. A lot of his biggest critics often appear to be non Bees fans, and they have to only endure him at most a couple of times a year.

With Havelock, yes there is almost total opposition to his continued involvement at Brandon, indeed I struggle to remember a more unpopular Bees 'asset' ever. The fact his only supporters on this forum are Poole fans, largely led by the priceless Starman, is about as damning evidence that you could get. Bottom of the league, and with retrograde signings like Jo Screen and O.Allen, it is not surprising fans were angered by last season's performance. No different to Swindon's fans reactions to their wooden spoon 3 years ago. Havelock has never done anything to integrate himself with Bees fans and seems to positively delight in pronouncing his love of Poole. Either he is beyond stupid, or he is so arrogant not to care what his support base thinks.

Luckily though we haven't had to moan/discuss endlessly whether our riders will or will not be paid, or whether Morris will or will not ride for us,whether he is loyal/disloyal, whether he should be forced to ride, or forced to be sold etc etc.

It was tongue in cheek - hence the emoticons. No need to get defensive - the evidence is on this site that for the past 2 years Coventry fans have been moaning rather a lot. This year it is great to see most Bees fans being positive about the upcoming season - long may it continue and good luck for the new season.

Don't know why you felt the need to bring Swindon into the discussion as offence isn't usually the best defence.

Must be a bit like the England V Scotland thing.

England don't mind Scotland but the Scots hate the English ( due to being superior, at football that is)

Poole see Coventry as just another club to pick up points from, but Coventry hate Poole because of the Pirates continued success. (Green eyed monster all that)

So your surprised that Bees fans were not happy about their team finishing bottom ? :o Clearly you don't know much about sporting fans in general then. :nono: There moaning showed they care, and indeed events proved them more prescient than the owner. Or perhaps you have forgotten the hundreds of 'woe is me posts', when Scott was Swindon's number 1. :D

How many more people can you upset in a single post:

1. Some people will find your avatar offensive

2. Scottish people - being Scottish myself I would say that I don't hate the English (just you  )

3. Coventry fans - while they may hate Poole, I don't think they were the ones withholding fireworks and and champagne in 2010 (success and all that).

In the past few days you have posted a number of trolling, inflammatory posts with the sole intention of winding people up. Business must be slow!

Now as somebody lost to speedway, but on the verge of coming back, I'd say you could draw a lot of comparison with this Bees / Pirates rivalry with that seen in football.

Its almost Man Utd ( Poole ) with their resources and Liverpool ( Bees ) with their history.

Lets just remember, if you take British League titles as well as the Elite, the Pirates still haven't done a Man U and overtaken yet !

Looking forward to my return even more by the day :t:
