So pleased that we've signed the Bomber and Hansen. I've always loved Bomber's style of riding and he always gives 100%, and Hansen really impressed me at the Brandonapolis - well done Mick. Just need to get Zengi signed now.

How you getting your smillies Jacques. I can't access them since the upgrade, or whatever you call it??

So apparently last year Horton didn't want to pay Bombers wages, yet this year they have come to an agreement, so who's backed down ?.

Bomber is worth what he is worth . Maybe it's a case of a mutual understanding?

I can't either I've just used the code that applies to most things ...??

Wow 2 signings and its Bomber and Hansen, top signings from Horton. I would like too see how the anti Horton brigade turn this as a bad thing. Good start to the 2014 team!

Looking forward to Harris having his testimonial at Brandon in 2014 as well. He deserves one and can imagine Brandon will be packed out

Many British fans appreciate what he has done and achieved for Britain and for the Bees.

It would be crazy to let Bomber go anywhere else on a 6.82 average as next season looks set to be a lower points limit and with a few of the big names opting out of British Speedway next season he could easily move back to an 8+ average.

Pleased that Bees have won the race to sign Kenneth Hansen too as he no doubt has talent and could be a decent back up rider on a 5.83 average but I still remember his lack of apearances for Wolves and now pleased he hasn't been recalled as he never did too much at Monmore Green in the past.

While he may not be the rider he was, I would think Bees will still show faith in Scott Nicholls and would look at getting Aaron Summers back too. Michal Szczepainiak did a decent job this season and could be a good signing to possibly start at reserve or will they look to Adam Roynon to have a clear run of injuries and back to a 5+ average.

I would say 2 cracking signings , but if the pts is 36 could well be 1 of a hell long tail the bees have , unless Hansen is a 3rd heatleader

Would be happy with Nicholls back as dedicated to the bees although I personally feel maybe a year at Wolves or Ipswich if they move up may benefit him.

Summers is a difficult one as at Brandon he can have some brilliant meeting but also some really bad ones and not sure how much he would up his average.

Szczepaniak was very inconsistant so as much as i like him i would leave him out of my 2014 team building along with Robson & Allen.

Would always have Roynon with the bees but part of me feels maybe he should focus just on PL next year whilst he gets his fitness & confidence back. Would be happy if he signed though.

The most exciting rider at Brandon for me this year (along with Kozza) was Zengota. Some of his heat 15 were amazing & helped win meetings for us. Esp loved his race wins against Ward & Iversen. Would have him back with bees for 2014 as confident he can improve his average

I think the bees will go down the Birmingham route and not go for a number 1. The points limit debate will shape the rest if the team but in reality the 2 signings had to be made, however Harris is only on this average because he has had a poor season.

Zengotta I imagine would be in with a shout but his away form is what worries me. I would rather Nicholls get the spot but I get the feeling his time at Coventry may have come to an end. Hope I am wrong.

Anyone else now BUZZING for 2014?

no

Really happy with our first 2 signings.

Credit to Horton for listening to the fans views and starting building with the riders we want.

Would love to see Zengi and Kozza added

if he signs them two we will Finnish bottom even though I like Zengota

You should have Kennett back

Please dont spoil the feel good factor on this thread at the moment lol. Think Eddie would benefit from riding with Eastbourne or Ipswich

Why? Both have returned from horrible injuries and yet have had some great races this year. Zengota has been the difference between a win or a loss in a lot of our home meetings and able to beat most heat leaders.

Kozza is on a brilliantly low average and could easily add a couple of points on to it if stays injury free.
