SCB
And MJJ is prone to only bother in the EL if he wants too. His average is low for a reason. We knew that when we signed him. It's why he's not an 8-9 point man. The only positive is he tends to perform on the big occasions. Lets just hope he considers the play-offs a big occasion! stevebrum
Hopefully you have some for your ever reliable Pole! He has been much better than i expected. Up to the last 2 meetings which were excuses. Still if it was a choice between Piotr and MJJ - there is no contest.

Neither very reliable although after having Piotr miss most of bees meetings when rode for us and never bothered, think I would rather have MJJ. Been good last couple of meetings. SCB
Piotr had only missed a couple this season due to U21 stuff, prior to returning to type. He only ever missed one meeting in dodgy circumstances for Coventry. As for his brother, he only ever missed meetings for U21 meetings too but that wasn't good enough for some (you!) which is why some of us find it wonderfully ironic his brother is now messing over Wolves

Both saying they were injured yet not crashed in Poland the day before. Rosco was waiting to see if they raced abroad on the tue as declared in team but then it was rained off.

SCB
And of course Mini Pawlicki and all the other Wolves riders are doing it for theit love of Wolves and not the money or any other selfish reasons? Stoip fooling yourself, they're all the same, every single one of them. If there was nothing in it for them they'd not be doing it. In the same way 99% of people would not go to work tomorrow if there was not something in it for them.

Its THEIR job, that's why most people go to work.
high edge
One of the main reasons speedway is going down is the teams. Two many changes over a season two many forein rider per team missing meeting, through illness which is poor excusess. Why dont english speedway sort out the riders who miss meetings by stopping them riding in our leagues. No team Elite or Premier should be allowed to use a forien rider at reserve, and no team should be allowed to have more than three non brits in a team.there are enough bitish riders to fill teams and they will come on look at the fast track riders how they improved.Get ridd of the new format in the Elite if we must have that league again go back to all same rules in all three leagus, get ridd of double scores go back to tac subs if six behind it works in Sweden give team managers more options, cap ridres pay rates say 1 3 5 on 80 pound 2 and4 in team on 60 res on 40.Then slow the bikes down to save on engine strain,go and make riders use throttle control instead of full gas on from start to finnish. Those who dont like pay rates dont ride others get jobs alongside speedway like we had to in the sixtys, speedway can no longer offer the money just look at crowd levels its sad but if nothing is done lotts of tracks will close like we did at Brum. The need to act is this winter or speedway will vannish. philfromcov
i think its a fair point that within an "elite league" contract, the rider should be available for at least 80% of the meetings, programmed at the start of the season. this should apply to double uppers as well. mind you would there be enough riders then?
