Edinburgh V Somerset (koc-2nd Leg Replay) 20/9/13 @7.30pm

Recommended Posts

So the return of the replay which is virtually over now after Somerset won by a massive 26 point margin in Wednesday which has kind of took the edge out of this match for tomorrow. Either way I hope it's still a cracker of a meeting.

  3. Theo Pijper
  4. Joe Tabaka
  5. Claus Vissing
  6. James Sarjeant (G)
  7. Max Fricke

Somerset

  6. Charles Wright
  7. James Mcbain (G)

Garry May seems to have a habit of digging up these kids! Big night for Somerset. need to go into the meeting with the right attitude and do a professional job.

Are you a professional psychologist, or is it just a hobby?

Well im hardly going to say, yeh mate, , its in the bag init, just got to turn up.. I don't think any self respecting Somerset fan would be saying that, do you?? Then again, i suppose you would. job still needs to be done.

James McBain has been on the scene for quite some time now, hardly a kid.

Really, well according to Pirate Nick he's a Glasgow Junior? For a 24 yr old he so well known he doesn't even figure in any of the lastest GS averages, PL or NL, So who does he ride for now??

Somerset tonight!

As far as I am aware, James as not been a member of a team, but has consistently been used by clubs needing a guest or number 8 when visiting the Scottish tracks, and scored some points when used in this capacity.

He is currently riding in the Northern Junior League and I believe he is the current Northern Junior League Champion, though I stand to be corrected on that.

i hate over confidence as much as the next man but i think the only silver rye will be getting to keep from the final will be uncle Len :approve:

Much as I hate to agree with you, cos you're an arrogant SOB, I can't see anything but a huge win on aggregate for Somerset, probably winning both legs

Only problem is Rye not agreed to come to Somerset yet for a blank Friday next week, at least it's not listed on either teams web sites. With Rebels left with 3 home matches in Play Offs, a rain off will mean a double header somewhere.

is it not the u21 team final the next day?? Meaning you'd be missing a couple if they did schedule it next Friday.
