OdsalBoy
My bet is one of Simon Stead OR Facu Albin.
Cue Ball
Crisis averted!!! Phew. Hopefully Stead, Lawson or Roynan - need a good positive first signing
OdsalBoy
Not Roynon for me, Stead, Lawson or Facu would be a nice start.
Halifaxtiger
Brilliant news, and there's no way a rider will sign unless he is absolutely convinced that the team will run. My money's on Lawson, but hopefully Stead and Albin will follow. Get Ollie Greenwood in and that leaves 17 points for the remaining three - which could include Roynon.

Cue Ball
Greenwood is definitely worth a go full time, was very impressed last year when he guested
trophykid
Great news, love my visits to Sheffield. A quintessential speedway experience
graz gp
If we sign Albin he needs new machinery for next season. He needs to up is game, he is good to watch but we want an end product, more points please
BuxtonTiger
As the Tigers look they are signing riders, what is the news on the air fence that will be required for next season?
graz gp
No news at all.
Elephantman
As the Tigers look they are signing riders, what is the news on the air fence that will be required for next season? Is that the air fence that will not improve safety at Owlerton and is only a requirement because the air fence manufacturers clearly have some mates on the BSPA? Blackadder
I think the air fence proposal came from the SCB, not the BSPA.

Don't count your chickens, look what happened to Newport they signed a full team and still didn't run.
AndyK86
Well finally we can crack on signing a team up
Halifaxtiger
Don't count your chickens, look what happened to Newport they signed a full team and still didn't run. Fair point. I do, however, think this will be very different
scaramanga
pleased things are looking better for sheffield 1 of the best venues for speedway in uk
oldace
Neil Machin isn't stupid. He knows he cant sell a speedway club in Jan/Feb with no riders signed up to ride and all the others sorted elsewhere. To give him half a chance of selling he has to keep the business viable. I wouldn't take it as any kind of guarantee

Phil
I have moved the rider discussion posts to the Sheffield 2014 topic.
