Poll. Who Are The Two Teams You Think Will Make The El Final?

Recommended Posts

Thought you might be interested in watching the Swindon Panthers

During the closing weeks of the season the real Panthers beat Swindon home and away, stuffed Poole at Wimborne Road, snatched a draw and defeat from victory in two tight matches with the Brummies and thumped Wolves 10 days ago. It's not surprising that the cartel pulled out all the stops to ensure that our team of racers didn't make the play-offs. It's all going to look a bit second rate tbh after watching the Panthers over the last couple of months (and yes I realise the season started in March, and they can knock that on the head in 2014 to do something worthwhile) so I'll pass on the kind suggestion thanks. Do the Panthers 2 become our problem in a couple of weeks or is Patchett splashing out or being tipped off about another ficticious date?

Poole are a Prem side with Ward and Hancock, you'll see them off no problem

It could be said clicking to vote is also an utterly ridiculous waste of your own time, just saying like. ;)

Actually no.

The thread is clearly marked as being a poll, therefore I came to the thread specifically expecting to click to vote.

Sadly you came onto the thread to troll.

There is much wrong in this sport, but remind me again what the 'cartel' did to stuff the Panthers? You didn't accumulate enough points to qualify. End of story.

I suppose you will dig up the Kings Lynn situation, where the points were rightfully given back to them.

No doubt it will be fixed to suit Poole so i wont bother voting.

Swindon V Wolves final.

Another classic case of the Dingle troll displaying his troll logic and blinkered dislike of Poole Speedway.......Which of course he will deny like the true troll he is and yet we see him on to every Poole thread like a rash - leaving his flaming rhetoric messages with the sole intention to stir....How sad

If it makes you happy and shuts you up then of course you're right.

As I said, you first but you went AWOL.

No it doesn't make me happy, as I said there is a hell of a lot wrong about the sport and you were stuffed back in the winter of discontent. Your hopes were also falsely built up this year, but you can have no complaints about not making the playoffs other than your own on track performance.

Don't think you'll need to worry about that!!!!!!!

Surely the final will be Wolves v Pirates. The sport's image will be tarnished beyond repair if 2 'insolvent' or 'financially unsound' clubs are seen to compete for the sports main prize in the UK!!:shock::D

What you mean Manic Monday when a dodgy appeal was upheld for some reason (we can argue the toss whether it was right in the first place but there's another thread for that) and we had speedway self preservation for 10 starts (can't call them races) to get the desired result for Poole & Poole TV. I don't disagree that we should never have been in the position we were (and Frost has said as much) and if we'd have fallen short on a level playing field then so be it. If you think that it all finished above board in the best possible taste then good for you, as long as you're happy. I think you'll find that we were stuffed before the winter of discontent which was the reason for it happening (that's only my perception, I don't know any more than anyone else who wasn't directly involved) but it would appear that with speedway at a low ebb then more and more seem to think Peterborough & Coventry had a point?

Actually that's a matter of opinion.

Talking of trolling behaviour keep up your dull ongoing battle with Drop The Cog wont you, its a great read to cure insomnia.

It's not a matter of opinion. Its the forum rules.

You have purposely entered the thread, not to contribute to the POLL, which is what the thread is about, but to attack it.

As for the 'dull ongoing' battle with Drop a Cog (not THE), if you want to point out where this 'ongoing' battle is taking place feel free as we both moved on some time ago. Of course there are a couple of threads running where Drop a Cog is making posts and a character by the name of 'Stevebrum' is popping up to 'battle' with him. Maybe you should let this 'Stevebrum' guy know he's sending you to sleep.

Definitely made me laugh - doesn't look like you've hooked anyone yet though - you must be losing your touch

I voted Wolves and Brum so Im at least half right!

Someone did!

can't be bothered to wait until Sunday to show what is happening, so for those of you that don't want to know the score, please look away now.

The poll will continue until Sunday night.

Pretty much as the form book predicted with Swindon clear favourites with the fans over Poole, by about 70/30, with Brum having then upper hand 60/40 over Wolves.
