dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Dates announced today. Both teams now with injuries to cover (lets hope there are no more in the next few weeks) Still expect a humdinger of a tie and too tight to call this far ahead. Will keep my powder dry on a prediction until closer to the first leg. Up the Witches!!

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Details on the Witches website re coach travel for this months final. Seats are £43 each. How does that compare with Diamonds offering?
Baldyman
Would be a good idea if both sets of promoters got together and agreed half price admission for away fans, then we may both be needing more than one coach. As for the 43 pound, by the time I got to Ipswich and paid for a car park, probably same as would cost in a car. Do a car share even cheaper. dantodan
Yeah Baldyman I think in finals over two legs the promoters should get their heads together could help the travelling fans by reducing entrance costs we all are paying way to much for petrol etc so a bit of a sweetener would be for the home promotion to discount entry for the travelling away fans and for the return match if the promotion could math the other promotion. It is so expensive to follow your team isn't it. The witches look a very solid side but who knows we might get classic last heat deciders at both legs. I think the diamonds can do it over two legs but such is the strength of Ipswich we might get well beaten down in Suffolk. If the witches take the honours well good luck to them, come on the diamonds

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Just a week to go now! The Witches have looked a bit off colour this last couple of meetings but are capable of pulling out a decent lead to set it uo nicely for the return leg. Will stick my neck out for a Witches win by 8 which would leave the Diamonds as favourites to take the aggregate win.

Baldyman
No mention of incentives to get the fans through the gates, oh well never mind, nothing like a bit of forward thinking.

Like what? . It's a Final, as AF says, what more incentive do fans need?
Baldyman
Cheaper admission for away fans to add to atmosphere would be a good start. And why not? Are you in charge of the budget? Do you not think more would travel then? And people wonder why crowds are not that great. I'm only talking cheaper admission for away fans. The more away fans the better cos the atmosphere at Ipswich is pretty poor without them. And pretty poor is being polite. Baldyman
Must just be a speedway thing then. Or maybe just me, cos when other tracks have put on a better price I have gone to those meetings. Sheffield and Somerset being examples, and I wouldn't have gone otherwise. It may have only been a few quid, but since they made the effort so did I. Well I was going to go to the away leg, but you have put me off now with your can't be bothered to try anything attitude. Sounds like you were looking for an excuse NOT to go to me. Well - You have managed to create a reason for yourself. WELL DONE!!! Baldyman
I will be going anyway, but the problem with speedway fans is they are always looking for reasons not to do something instead of reasons to do something. I may save money on hair cuts but shaving gel and razors ain't cheap. Would be a lot better off if I had a full head of flowing locks.
