Pirate Nick
Is Martin the geezer who leaps the fence everytime the fence is demolished? Rolls his sleeves up, gets stuck in, then re-joins his mates on the second bend? Remarkable character. That's him, great bloke, does a lot of work at the track. Mr Blobby
Simply not good enough form certain members of the team! You can not be performing like that at such a crucial stage of the season especially with the play-offs coming up in the next few days! Well done to Somerset they can only beat what is in front of them and they certainly did that!
Halifaxtiger
Don't be fooled by the score. Although the first half of the meeting was a little dull simply because the rebels were much too good, in the second half there was some superb racing from both sides, my personal favourite being Grajczonek's brilliant pass of Cook. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Nutz
Well played to the Rebels... far superior out of the starts compared to the Monarchs who were left floundering in 3/4's of the match. When we competed from the start, the Rebels knew where to go on turns 1 and 2 and left us for dead. Some good racing towards the second half of the meeting with heat 12 by far the stand out race. Not Morris' biggest fan but he got the bit between his teeth and a double overtake on opponents teamriding in front is pretty special. Some quick racing last night but was inevitably going to be won from the starts with the rain on Tuesday plus the meeting on Monday. Unfortunately we were found wanting in this department and never got a look in. Good luck against the Rockets in the final... Anyone who thinks a 26pt defecit is retrievable against such a powerful heat leader trio has been eating some cakes they shouldn't have been! Starman2006
Cracking result for the Rebels last night. Bit of Phycological advantage there as well.. Mustn't rest on their Laurals tho, plenty of work to do still. Don't be fooled by the score. Although the first half of the meeting was a little dull simply because the rebels were much too good, in the second half there was some superb racing from both sides, my personal favourite being Grajczonek's brilliant pass of Cook. Thoroughly enjoyable. His trips to the South coast are benifiting him big time, Making him a far better rider, and still more to come.
