LagutaRacingFan
Let's hope the Poole riders (Ward,Jonasson,Janowski) get through Sunday without an injury. R/R for Jonasson or Janowski would be a huge blow although a Bjerre/Iversen would cover Ward pretty well I think.
Steve Shovlar
Can't see losing a rider that got a zero against Lakeside in his last home match is a blow for Swindon, it is a massive blow for Ashley and i feel very sad for him. It isn't like you have lost your number one rider and current world champion. True enough. Dont remember him riding at poole ever. He had a good meeting at Poole this year. Gated and just rode very sensibly and picked up his best ever away score in the EL I think. However, he was Swindons weak link. R/R for Jonasson or Janowski would be a huge blow although a Bjerre/Iversen would cover Ward pretty well I think. You jest. Non one can replace Darcy at Swindon or Poole. A ORLOV
You jest. Non one can replace Darcy at Swindon or Poole. Darcy is a brilliant rider and I always enjoy seeing him at Swindon. Hans or Peter would outscore him at Swindon but you cannot get them as a guest. I hope that no other riders get injured before any playoff meeting. thecoombdog
The Birks injury along with Howarth's illness means its Poole to lose. Our season has been savaged by injuries and bad luck now but I will celebrate getting into the play offs as some sort of victory. I would make Poole the even money favourites now so no pressure on us whatsoever.
Steve Shovlar
Seems to me that some Swindon fans don't like having the mantle of "favourites" thrust on them. What are they scared about? Choking? Poole are more often than not classed as favourites and it sits OK with us and has no fears. This time around we are genuinely under dogs but so what? We start at 0-0 and whatever the outcome the better team will win through to make the final. Hopefully no injuries this time around ( Birks accepted) for both teams, unlike the final last year which was wrecked. Weather is set fair. Bring it on! As has been pointed out to you are the Favourites as the bookies decide that ...so based on that it is you who does not want the mantle .

Pls change your user name to the sh1te shovlar. Do you really think it matters who me, you or the bookies make favourites. If I say you lot are favourites will it make your riders bottle it on Monday. Of course not. All this favourite and pressure talk is complete and utter bollox. Why was last years final wrecked? Cos your number 1 got a battering after being in the pub with your team manager the night before a big meeting. No bad luck at all there im afraid. Nobody else gives a fiddlers who the "favourites" are, but you bang on about it day after day (and after the "Swindon's to lose" guff in 2012) year after year. I know it's all a game but with Ford and Rosco now spouting the same cobblers it isn't half tiring.
Crazy robin
Obviously not. But what happened to Birks last night was bad luck. Being in a boozer and getting a shooing when you shouldnt be there is not bad luck in my book. It was bad to be in the pub on the night before a big meeting but to have not learnt his lesson from his earlier capers was the reason he got a whack & that was pure STUPIDITY & not BAD LUCK. Get well soon Ashley.
YerRopes
Heard last night that Ashley had to withdraw from the meeting, but am shocked and saddened to hear the extent of his injuries.. He's had a good season for both Scunthorpe and Swindon and made great progress this year. Only a numpty would say that replacing a PL heat leader with a PL reserve will make no difference.. Most people I know aren't going to either leg of the PO's - what remaining integrity of the sport was killed at Belle Vue Vs Poole Get well soon Ash.. Think you'll find although Nick was out he was keeping out of trouble unlike a certain other person but don't let facts get in the way will you!.
