Catalan
Can we use Matts rule book if we need a replacement. Busters is the one we want.
Grachan
Bellego for Birks would make Swindon even bigger favourites and would be a game changer. No chance for Poole if he comes in. Ha ha. Good one. Interesting to see that Rosco has called Matt Ford on his "mind games" of keeping saying Swindon are favourites. http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/speedway/10687265.Rossiter_unfazed_by_Ford_s_fun_and_games/

RumOldBird
Anyone know if season ticket holders get discounted entrance on Monday? Surely Bellego's average doesnt fit now? I had a text yesterday to say there's £5 reduction for season ticket holders and we still get to use our normal entrance Yay no queues. Devastating news about Ashley, hope the op goes OK and he makes a full and swift recovery. Also found out about Bryn Williams today glad he's on the mend. Penny Cross
Ashley Birks injured by bike tonight in Westonapolis at Plymouth. Updates comments are that another rider went down and his bike hit Ashley. Ashley was stretchered off to ambulance and has withdrawn from the meeting. I hope he is not too badly injured . Horrible crash. Starke lifted on the 1st turn and went right over, and his bike careered on its own on the back wheel. The riderless bike then t-boned the luckless Birks, who knew nothing about it. One of those crashes that you instantly know isn't good. Starke was also flung hard into the fence, but got back up after a few minutes and immediately ran to see the stricken Ashley. I have always enjoyed watching Birks and was hoping hed win last nights meeting. Doesn't sound too good, with him needing an immediate operation on his back. Sincere best wishes for a speedy recovery Ashley.

Can't see losing a rider that got a zero against Lakeside in his last home match is a blow for Swindon, it is a massive blow for Ashley and i feel very sad for him. It isn't like you have lost your number one rider and current world champion.

Ashley has been poor at home all season but has rode well away at Brum ,Poole and Wolves. it's the away matches he will be missed .

orion
Dont remember him riding at poole ever. Never went to the Match v Wolves then ? he scored paid 13 . No offence to Lewis Kerr but at this stage he is likely to score 0 . Edited September 21, 2013 by orion
Bagpuss
Get well soon to Birks, he'll be a big miss at Poole without doubt. Don't expect Lewi to score but he can gate and will be a nuisance in the first turn. Great experience for the lad from a Lynn point of view. Steve0
A big blow for Ashley - such a likeable lad who has shown progress this year - get well soon. Of course it weakens us as Lewis has very little EL experience but we have a strong top 5 - and those are the ones who need to perform and if Kyle rides like he can we should be fine!
