Wolves V Birmingham Play Off Semi 1st Leg - 23rd September

Yes Freddie swerved left ,but was well ahead of Doyle . Doyle caused Freddie to fall end off . What would have happened if Freddie had broke something ? Assault charge ?

What if Doyle didn't change lines and slow in time coming off bend 4 ? would of been far nastier.

The problem with Lindgrens move was more the intent of it, it wasn't a natural racing line, he knew exactly what he was doing, although Doyle had time to react, he probably saw it as a deliberate attempt to put him in the s**t.

Using a Football comparison, there of two types of mistimed tackles, the accidental type where you try to play the ball, and the type where you set out to "do" the other bloke...

Doyle didn't change lines and he didn't slow either. Time to head to specsavers.

As for your football analogy, in football a foul will often earn you a yellow card (although there was no foul in this case), retaliation is a straight red. You're tying yourself in knots.

The move was no different to any other move in any other race. The rider in front (in Fred`s case WELL in front) can change his line as he wants. It is up to the rider chasing to adapt to those changes. Yes of course the move was intended to slow Doyle down, nothing different to any other move during a race.

Any move made on the track is an intent , otherwise its just a mistake.

As expected some are making a huge mountain out of this mole hill.

You're preaching to the wrong people.. its only a couple of Brummies fans, well one, David2905 who is harping on about the dangerous Lindgren.

Wives ... the Dogheads are still in a massive sulk!

Are we? Don't think so, Birmingham won the meeting, congratulations to them and as they long as they hold their nerve they should go onto the final and good luck to them. Wolves hopes effectively ended when Tai crashed on Saturday night.

Far from sulking I am still on a high because, despite my team losing I got to see an entertaining meeting in front of a big crowd. Speedway at its finest.

Spot on. Made my first visit to Monmore in years and really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, too. :t:
