Noodles
Surprised Ipswich haven't given up there bye in next years KOC to race against Panthers in the first round, would be a good earner for both clubsSeason ticket is for 18 matches, so either a challenge and no koc, or koc and no challenge? bigcatdiary
One of the bye clubs perhaps should. The only downside to it being the Witches is possible saturation as presumably Boro will join our LC group too. Well having checked last years groups I would have thought they would replace Leicester in the midland group.

spanner47
Heard a yarn that first meeting will be Morten's testimonial on Sat 22nd March. Not a lover of these meetings, but at least these meetings in March can usually attract the better riders as they want track time. It came from a reliable source, anybody else heard about it? Baldyman
Witches legends? Louis? Doncaster? Loram? Or Nicholls and king? Being a dane we may get to see iversen bjerre pedersen and Andersen, that would be great start.
Siggytastic
How is Morten entitled to a testimonial? Edited December 24, 2013 by Siggytastic
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
How is Morten entitled to a testimonial? It seems 10 years in British Speedway is the only criteria now. No longer does it need to be with only one club/promoter. Gavan
Testimonials are thrown out like confetti. Stay 10 years at 1 club like Louis did and you deserve one. Move around a lot then not so. Loram never had a testimonial but had a farewell meeting. Kasprzak doesn't deserve one. Grieves at Glasgow and Lindgren certainly did
SCB
Grieves at Glasgow and Lindgren certainly didOn what basis did Grieves deserve one? Moved around between Glasgow, Wolves, Berwick, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Redcar throughout his career.
Ben91
Luke Bowen has one at Rye House this year, 10 years continued service at Rye House, one year out due to injury granted but that was beyond his control. That's real cause for a testimonial. Second rate overseas journeymen don't deserve them.

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
That'll be Rye HouseI will bow to your expert judgement on the one - I havent checked the exact distances/travel times. Was going purely on the instinct that Boro always seemed quicker and easier to get to than Rye from Ipswich. seanmuffe
I would expect a few - especially some bloke at Foxhall who forgets who's in which race! sadly there are paid announcers who do that ..too many at that. At least you notice ........but it doesn't count in your case as you do it for love!

Not looking too far out Id say. Personally Id throw in Scunthorpe instead of Berwick though.  Worky look the stand out team to me. Baldyman
Personally I can't see Berwick winning, Scunthorpe Newcastle Redcar Somerset all look to pretty good teams. Workington I would say look the strongest and along with us in think maybe the top six. But as we all know injuries can play a massive part in the outcome, and the teams that make changes at the right time. I think we certainly have the best potential at reserve through out the season.
