CardinalSin
And tonight Gino qualified in the world under 21's ! A big well done young man . Indeed well done Gino! I'll admit I didn't think he'd qualify tonight and would struggle, based on the fact his gating is generally poor and Leicester isn't a track known for many passing opportunities.

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I think you just hit the nail bang on the head. Whilst there are the enough fans coming through the turnstile, changes are very unlikely. Well done to those that are ambitious, but I guess being ambitious takes more out of the profits. For me though I want my team to win or at least do what they can to win. I must also add, that the one rider I wouldn't change at the moment is morten, which is not a view I normally hold. But would any changes make a real difference? Do you think a Newcastle style change would work? Do you think if we had ditched Rohan and Cam and brought in Danny and a 3 pointer it would make us a better side. Personally I dont. The other way is someone like a Thorsell at around 8.5 and a new 5 pointer. Louis hinted there was another newcomer on his radar along with Gino during the winter. I think that way would be more likely to provide an improvement that the big hitter route but with no guarantees. Again not worth the risk IMO certainly at this stage.Remember 6th place and a team coming into form at the right time is what its all about.
Baldyman
No one knows if changes would make a difference. That's the risk that's taken, along with the risk of leaving the team the same and hoping the crowds don't drop off too much. I think if I was looking to make a change to our team, it would be to replace cameron at this point in time or both Cameron and rohan. Probably just Cameron though. A 6.5 rider scoring his average has got to be an improvement on a 6.5 rider currently averaging 4, but that's just me. Maybe in another couple of meetings we can see if changes are definitely needed. Peterborough again Thursday, maybe we will fare better this time with Adam in the team, or at least we should do.
2ndbendbeerhut
Yeah well done Gino! The 3 rounds of the under 21 are: Lonigo (Ita)19/7 (Home Glasgow 17/7) Ostrow (Pol) 17/8 ( Away Rye House 16/8) Pardubice (Cz) 4/10 So may miss a couple of matches but won't be an Ipswich match without a guest or 2 would it! But I think Cam is showing signs of getting it right though. He now looks quick enough during the races which he didnt early doors. Once he can string a few decent starts together he will be right back on it.
CardinalSin
Peterborough again ThursdayAnd then Edinburgh away on Friday! Could easily be another painful couple of nights again next week..

Don't forget fixture list shows away at Berwick Saturday too! Must win Thursday or it could be another 3 bad days.
Baldyman
Well if it's another 3 losses, then that really would put a massive dent in our play off position hopes. I have a feeling though that Adam will be the difference in us winning Thursday as opposed to our previous meeting with the panthers.
CardinalSin
Ipswich star main story on the back page this morning "No changes" Louis it says seems to have been "irked" by suggestions on social media that Ipswich are making changes. We're not. He has faith in the side and has given them a vote of confidence and doesn't want any of the team unsettled. He also says he stands by his decision to sign Ellis, despite him missing meetings already and a further 4 more to be missed, that could be more depending on rain offs and rearranged meetings. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Surprised to see words such as 'irked' and 'unsettled' used. I dont think any of the posts on here have stated that changes are expected. In fact quite the opposite - those that may welcome them think they wont happen anyway . I dont do Facebook or Twitter - have comments on them been more forthright? It has only been IF there were to be a change what would be most likely to be considered etc that has been discussed. Lets see how the next 7 days /3 matches go and see if any opinions change. Up the Witches!!
Baldyman
I can't see anything on twitter or Facebook where anyone has mentioned changes. Maybe Chris is getting paranoid. At least we know he isn't going to make changes, let's hope we start winning, otherwise crowds will certainly take a hit. Thursday is a good time to start. ipswichwitch
At the moment we seem to be quite inconsistent. We are a good side, Manzares, Risager, Tungate are great riders and usually do well, but then you look back at our poor performances against Peterborough on a Good Friday. It's such a shame that we win most of the time, but take a good hammering, every-so-often. The crowd wasn't great the first Bank Holiday meeting after Good Friday which is a shame, because the meeting against Newcastle was exciting and went right down to the wire. Despite this I'm sure Louis can bring some silverware to Foxhall this year. Anyone agree with me?
