BossMan
Once again not much interest in a Rye fixture? Does anyone know the line up of riders or indeed if this fixture will go ahead?

Vulcan62
Hopefully, the Redcar team will all get lost on route leaving the home riders to ride round for 15 5-0's!!! Sorted, play-offs here we come....

cityrebel
i'm suprised at the early call off. the bbc forecast says dry for hoddesdon from noon onwards.
Lord Skid
Wasn't the idea behind dirt deflectors supposed to be to save meetings being called off when the shale was a bit wet, but the weather was good? Or just another added expense, with no real advantage, due to so little shale on the tracks.
Bear_Bottom
bspa site says match off So Redcar qualify (or can I see some sort of appeal coming for not fulfilling fixtures...)
Rockets
Lots and lots of heavy rain over the last 24 hours here. Nothing surprising about the call off.
Shadders
Not surprised it's off. Raining for most of yesterday and again last night and this morning. Track will be saturated. Does anyone really want to pay to watch something similar to Belle Vue v Poole last Monday? I certainly don't! scaramanga
So Redcar qualify (or can I see some sort of appeal coming for not fulfilling fixtures...) or maybe the fact that leicester have scored more race points might come into it then redcar can claim leicster have had more scored against them too
Shadders
Rye House qualified for the 2007 PL play offs in 4th place at the cut off date, eventually going on to win the trophy. Birmingham went on to finish 4th in the league, Rye House 5th. Can't see any Leicester appeal being upheld. Well if that was the rule in 2007 then it won't have been changed it should still be the same.....have a day off this is speedway rules don't stay the same from 1 year to the next let alone 6 :-) Edited September 14, 2013 by TMW

skthecat
Ok, so what did the weather do during the hours before and during the "rain off" of Rye v Redcar? Could it have gone ahead? Or was the early call off justified........?
Rockets
You obviously are nt local. It would have been fit for power boat racing I suspect. Seriously there was a ton of rain and the track is by the side of a river that seeps. Don't forget as we'll the rye riders need all the track time they can get especially ollie before the cup final
Boobs
Next Saturday is my next day off. And is also the day you will be hoping for a revolting kiss, according to the Berwick Newsletter!
Shadders
And is also the day you will be hoping for a revolting kiss, according to the Berwick Newsletter! I have no idea what I was thinking of when I casually mentioned that bet/dare. For the first time in my Rye supporting life I'm hoping we don't win, but with our history there I doubt I'll have to pucker up this time.
