whowasthatberntpersson
I may be totally blind and missed another thread, but I honestly haven't seen a thing about this meeting. Should be a good one Sheffeld having Worrall in for Stead and all the Tigers able to have a rr ride for Royno. Somerset looking quite powerful, and with the big guns firing should do well at Owlerton. Just hope the weather doesn't ruin the party. No your not mate, i looked last night, there's not, which suprises me. Where's all the Somerset fans???? Somerset need all four points tonight, and weather permitting, set up a cracker tomorrow night, where's 3 points will put them in a very good position for top spot. oldtimer
Weather looks dodgy and hope it goes ahead as no chance to re run this before Mondays cut off date. Rebels need to pick up points here to stand a chance of finishing top of the table. Sheffield look weak at reserve with Facundo Albin and former mascot, 16 year old Max Clegg and both should be outscored by Rebels reserves Charles Wright and an inspired guest signing by Gary May of Oliver Greenwood. Sheffield have Richie Worrall replacing Stead and R/R for Roynan. On paper Rebels look far to strong for the Tigers and it will be disappointing if they come away with nothing.i
SomersetBlue
Should be interesting tonight but I think the rebels should take all four points, too strong for sheffield in depth. Rebels by
Cue Ball
Hopefully Sheffield can keep it close, but without either of our regular number 1's it's going to be a tough ask. Inspired choice for the Rebels to snaffle Greenwood as he has proved himself to be a half decent reserve at Owlerton in past weeks. Rebels to win, but not take all 4 points
Starman2006
Forcast for tomorrow is Dyer, not looking good. I hear the cut off date is monday?, think for all concerned this should be stretched for another week or so, it doesn't just concern Somerset.. If the Ippo match succumbs to the weather it will be run on Monday, dont know what will happen if tonight is rained off, although rain not forecast until 10pm. Arson fire
Ipswich would need to win at Somerset. or draw if they beat Edinburgh by 7 tonight.Jumping the gun a night early. What if Edinburgh win at both Newcastle and workington? Edited September 12, 2013 by Arson fire
oldtimer
Rebels now on 54 points, Edinburgh got nothing up at Ipswich tonight so remain on 47, if they win away by more than 6 points at both Newcastle and Workington that would put Monarchs on 55 points so Somerset would need to drop a point at home to Ipswich, all of which is highly unlikely. Tonight's win puts Ipswich on 54 points with the away at Somerset left. Don't think I have left any matches out. Arson fire
Edinburgh are on 50 points arnt they?? It's out of somersets hands regardless of the score tomorrow as Edinburgh can still get to 58... Unlikely but possible. Bit different from your first post saying you'd already finished top Edited September 12, 2013 by Arson fire

Cue Ball
Out gates / out classed on an extremely difficult track. Facu and Wells finished for the Tigers with credibility. Over heard one of the Sheffield riders commenting after it was called off 'we did them a favour getting it on, you would have thought that they would have seen it through to the end'. I'm guessing the decision to abandon the meeting was on the Somerset side of the pits - that said I was expecting to be heading home after heat 3. Not an exciting nights racing.
