Tomorrow's meetings against the Isle of Wight and Stoke are must win matches for the Hitmen if they want to make the playoffs. The Hitmen need to take all 6 points that are on offer to take the fourth spot. Isle of Wight are also looking to clinch that top four spot and need a point from the first meeting to make it and ruin Buxton's hopes. One thing is certain and that there should be plenty of action over the 30 heats. Admission prices have been set at £15 for Adults, £13 concessions and Children remain at usual price of £3.50.

As opposed to the defeat to Dudley where the home side lost it rather than the visitors winning it, Stoke were always the better team and deserved their win on the day. It would have been interesting to have seen Stoke's declared 1-7 in action as there may have been a different result.

Good to see that Mr Vasey hasn't lost his comedic tendancies as he was jumping up and down as Ben Morley beat Wooley & Williamson in Heat 8!!!

Wouldn’t have got 7+1 from missing rider Neil. :t:

I was thinking more of the 12+1 from the No 1 race jacket.

It was always going to be difficult for Buxton as they had to put a lot of effort into the 1st meeting and losing that point to the IOW might have deflated them a little (rather like Lee Smart's back tyre when he was about to win Heat 12).

Whilst all Buxton supporters must of been disappointed with the results at weekend and to lose to Stoke must of been hard but the 12+1 from the number one is a result that would of been expected from your number one. Ben Reade is logged as number one for Stoke and a fit and normal Ben could of matched that score from Dan. This year has not been Ben's and people could say that he would in all probability not of got that score;but if the scores of every rider could be as predicable as that we may as well sit at home and fill in the race card there; saves getting cold and money on bovril. Ben has and could still knock in the big scores and whilst I agree the score could of been different, I think we differ on that Stoke could of easily got to the mid 50 point mark with the form of Ben and Tom from last year. After all, with the stupid way that speedway averages are worked out that is what they should be getting.
