Fromafar
If thats true, that has to rule him out of Berwicks plans for next season. While we may be jumping the gun here,If he was signed he probably be at reserve so he wouldn't be the end of the world if we had to use a NL GUEST if he missed some weeks ,if he is a prospect and we make him an asset it can only benefit the club in the long run.IMO.
crescent girl
Surprised to read this in the Sun this morning.. "French speedway star Dimitri Berge,16, will start his bid to join a British club tomorrow. Last years 250cc world champion rides in Ricky Ashworths benefit event as he eyes a 2014 contract" Why surprised? Was it that the Sun had stuff about Berwick? A good plug for Ricky's meeting, surely? screm
Dry and bright start, and once this early morning cloud burns off it should be a nice late summers day. Hope the meetings a real success for a great cause. Its unbelieveable to think that its over two months since Ricky Ashworth suffered his injury. BigRackBandit
Why surprised? Was it that the Sun had stuff about Berwick? A good plug for Ricky's meeting, surely? Unfortunately Berwick wasn't mentioned in the little report. I was Surprised that the Sun chose to report about a French lad that I hadn't heard of until a 5 months or so back. I was pleasantly surprised, would have been even better if they mentioned where Ricky's meeting was being held though.

crescent girl
Despite the usual suspect critics, Shielfield track has been impressively-good over the past few seasons. Over the long piece, the preparation team do an excellent job. The past criticism of the recently-improved Brough Park and continual complaints over Redcar this year were (Newcastle) and are (STMP) much more valid. Gordon Pairman
I am in Berwick about a mile from the track and the weather is amazing for late September. Anyone unsure about whether or not to come to watch this, stop swithering and come on down. You can always Sky+ the Euro championship! Causes don't come much more important than this

Gordon Pairman
Euro Champs are tomorrow night, weathers been lovely all day,I hope tonight is a raving success for Ricky. I had assumed they were Saturday same as all the other rounds. My mistake. But it means there are no excuses for not heading for Berwick!!
