crescent girl
Fair point, but both Hansen & Jamrog are riding in a number of meetings while they are over here, probably hoping a promoter notices there performances. It might not necessarily mean Berwick. Hansen was good on Saturday, looked professional, very polite and eager to please and was well-turned-out. However, isn't he maybe just exactly one of the "journeymen" some of the folk on here are so set against? He is also not an asset (Wolves?) and as such the club might be better looking elsewhere. bigeddiechek
Wasn't overly impressed with Hansen on Saturday. Beige is how I would describe him.
Boobs
From what I hear, Berwick may have an inside track on Jamrog. Through a former wee pal.
bandits 13
The rumour I have been hearing is that Jamrog is ready to apply for his british licence I also heard that rumour. I noticed Liam carr had Anderson Butchers advertising all over the bike, hopefully he is getting a bit of sponsorship. He seems to have the talent just needs the equipment. They are the same covers (not sure about actual bike) that Facu was using whilst practising here last year
Shadders
Is he the local guy who sponsors all the Czech riders at different clubs? I'd have thought his money might be better invested in seriously backing an improving local teenager such as Liam Carr. You sound like my ex wife. Very good at advising people how to spend their own money

bigeddiechek
Jamrog would be well worth watching going by Saturday night. Tough little fella, but aren't they all!
emilali
Couldnt make saturday night but sounds like Jamrog was good value. Find it hard to believe he would apply for a British license though and give up riding in the polish first liga. However, stranger things have happened. What did Berge look like? Robinh88
We need a Number 1, which isn't Hansen or Jamrog
Catch Me If You Can
We need a Number 1, which isn't Hansen or Jamrog No one would expect Jamrog to be number one, why did you say that? You very pessimistic. He would be great for the club in engine room. You cannot judge a rider such as Hansen on one meeting. His Danish League exploits in 2013 season were very good. Top riders for number one slot in teams this season will be hard to find as many clubs are looking. emilali
We need a Number 1, which isn't Hansen or Jamrog Not necessarily if they decide to go strength in depth and sign a 7 man team with reserves who are actually capable of scoring and improving there average, thus getting them into the main team. Fromafar
We need a Number 1, which isn't Hansen or Jamrog When you compare Hansen's Scandanavian for to the likes of Alden I don't. See any reason to why he could not be a PL number 1. Jamrog could be anything and defiantly worth a punt.
Robinh88
I don't believe Hansen would hit a 9 point average in his first season. I think being signed as a No1 brings extra pressure its the hardest Number to be at. He's not been around the British league he's done bit parts hear and there. A good heatleader is realistic as for a No1? well in my eyes Stead, Cook, Doyle and possibly Lawson are the 4 No1's for me in the league. Hansen in my opinion would be about 7.5-8. But if the points limit is drastically reduced (as it will be) an effective No 1 might be much lower-averaged. Speculation has to be put on hold until after the BSPA meetings.
Prior Bandit
Jamrog looked good and is a fighter but I think a lot of other British clubs will now be interested. Whoever we have in the team we need them to ride as a team. From what I have seen this year they are just out for themselves.

YAMYAMBANDIT
Why?if he takes out a UK licence there should not be a problem assuming he wants to ride in GB He would still need to be released by the Polish fedreration, alternatively he could take up permanent residence in UK Is he the local guy who sponsors all the Czech riders at different clubs? I'd have thought his money might be better invested in seriously backing an improving local teenager such as Liam Carr. This is me, all of the Czech riders sponsored by myself in UK are Berwick assets, some may have moved to another club and come back, but whom I spend money on is my affair. I try and help all of our riders in a small way, but you are not far off the mark when you mention Liam Carr, I will see what I can do for him and also a future prospect in Leon Flint. Both will be getting new racesuits for next year. This is important these suits will be maunufactured by SPEEDWAY ANARCHY, one of those Czech speedway riders you mentioned ADRIAN RYMEL.
Robinh88
CMIYC Barker hasn't been a Number One this year, not sure why machinery, injuries leaving Plymouth maybe the the World Cup. He's not been as dominant. That being said I would take Ben Barker right now as a No1 for Berwick, best visitor in all respects at Berwick this season. Kauko Neimenen, not as a No1 but good Sqaud rider

Correct me if I am wrong, but you have support all riders at the club in various ways over the years? I maybe don't agree with you very often, but I thought the previous poster was out of order, and unfair towards you.
