From what I heard yesterday I dont think Sheffield team was confirmed but maybe am wrong?

90%, somewhere about what was happening is all is needed, it's not a league fixture so is not vital that it is 100%.

Hansen was great for Peterbro in 2009 and has had excellent season in Danish Super League and has been riding for Krakow in Poland. Hansen scored 10 beating some big names in the Danish Team Championship last week.

Jamrog has been riding recently for Lodz I think in Polish Division One and clocked a 15 point maximum recently and am sure won Ukraine Open although not earth shattering. As for Berge he was in European U 21 Semi and scored 9 or 10 Rides lots grass meetings in France and was in their TWTC squad?

Quite apart from the "good cause" aspect of this meeting, the fresh faces in the Berwick team, and the prospect of Sudden Sam back on track as No 8 for Sheffield give it the feel of an interesting evening. Good luck to all concerned.

Surprised to read this in the Sun this morning..

"French speedway star Dimitri Berge,16, will start his bid to join a British club tomorrow.

Last years 250cc world champion rides in Ricky Ashworths benefit event as he eyes a 2014 contract"

Would like to think that Bellego could persuade him that Berwick is the place to be .has been getting good write ups on the Continent probably would need patience with him at that age though.see what he is like tomorrow

Should Berge sign,it would make all kinds of sense to have Bellego in the team to,especially if they were based together.

Quite a few on here have put Liam Carr forward as a perspective signing,Carr or Berge fine, but Im not so sure on both, bit to much of a gamble for me.

Think Dimitri qualified for the 2014 longtrack GP last week if so a saturday night track probably wouldnt fit in with his commitments unless of course the guest/rr res change in the winter.

If thats true, that has to rule him out of Berwicks plans for next season.

Just checked in the grasstrack section of this forum he finished 4th and top 5 qualified.

Bye bye Berge.

Weathers set pretty much fair for tomorrows meeting, saturday is forecast to be bright and dry, even reasonably warm,so hopefully that will encourage more people out to support this meeting.
